Pot stickers and other things

The pot stickers were a hit...much better then any I have had before... I used won ton skins but think I will go look for actual potsticker skins, if there is such a thing, or make some myself.. the others were just a tad to thin.... I made a dipping sauce to go with them and they were great...

I am going to get a new  non stick pan so I don have to use quite as much oil... I think they will be better that way...

I did a really bone headed thing today... we went to town and I had to put a check in the bank...things are a tad tight this month, anyway  when I got the little slip back that told how much was in the account I about had a heart attack...it was about 300 short of what I thought it should have been.... so when I got home I checked the accounts on line... and some how I had gotten a hold of a deposit slip to my soap account.. and put it in there... instead of the household account... whew.... that is and easy fix  lol

DH truck is running better now.. we were able to get a used part to fix it...so I will have a car again...

DH son has decided he wants to go back to CA, I have kind of seen this coming..but I dont think DH has... this will hurt him,  I'm afraid...I know he is so excited to have him here.   I feel sorry for both of them....Zach came from an area in the city where he could go and go and go... and we live so far out, that its not real often we go to town.. so he is bored out of his mind... the job he had, he was fired from so basically he is stuck here.... I think he will be happier in Ca, but worry that he will fall back into the rut he was in when he left... not really working towards anything, just playing...I guess its not really up to us anyhow.. he is 19,  a very young 19, but 19 just the same.... tomorrow will be interesting around here... he is having a hard time getting the nerve up to talk to his dad though, so it may be Sunday...well its time to tuck the pups in and head for bed....good night all

What are pot stickers? I'm not familiar with that term. ;0)
Maybe your Dh's son will get the city out of his blood. When we're young, we feel like we're missing out on so much if we're not going, going, going. Hopefully, age and the Good Lord knock some sense into us.
