Hectic Heaven

I have decided to make a few changes in my life...

I have decided to work on becoming more organized... I am so tired of feeling anxious over this house....so I have signed up again with the flylady...a few years ago I  did this and  was amazed at how easy it was for me to keep the house up... but for some reason I let it backslide and am now back to where I was....before... so today

I am fully dressed

the bed is made

I will be washing a load of clothes

and I have two hot spots that I will get done.

I hve decided to try and make some potstickers... both DH and I really enjoy these treats...I found a good recipe and as soon as DH gets home from work, think I will run and get the things I need to make some... I have most everything but just need some ground port, cabbage and wonton wrappers.... I got the recipes from   www.allrecipes.com  if you are not familiar with this site it is one of the best in my opinion.. I use it often...

I have been carding and spinning some alpaca fleece, I traded some soap for... It is turning out so nicely...I love the feel of the wool pulling thru my fingers...so soft... I really do need to get a couple more bobbins for my wheel.... in time Im sure I will... I having been looking at ball winders.. and since I know I dont have the money nor will have it for awhile to buy one of these... I decided to look at other options.... I read off, I believe  Spinnergals blog about how she was using a  nostepinde to make a center pull ball.  I dont have a true nostepinde, but looking at the ones for sale basically it looks like a big dowel that is tapered down at one end... so I got to thinking... yes dangerouse I know... I had bought a rolling pin some years back that was tapered in a similiar fashion... so I dug it out and guess what? It worked!... I have the prettiest ball of yarn sitting here.... I just keep picking it up and loving it 

we are down to one car right now  DH's truck has something going haywire with the driveline so for awhile we will share....so I have been homebound the last 2 days which is rather nice...but sometimes its a bit of a shock to.... when I think.. oh Ill run do this or that  hahaha... You've gotten a lot done already today! And I love allrecipes.com...have used it many times. I found a banana bar recipe on there that my family LOVES. With the busyness of the holidays I haven't been spinning...hopefully, I can get back to some this weekend..it's so relaxing.

I too understand how it feels to be 'anxious' about a disorganized house. I've been that way for 26yrs. And once again I will attempt at making my home organized as goal for the new year. Good Luck with yours. I have a feeling you'll be successful.
