Hectic Heaven

The day after...

It seems like there is very little time from Christmas being over and that sigh of relief that goes with it, until I am planning for New Years.. although our New Years celbrations are pretty low key...

I was somewhat in hot water because I did not bring deviled eggs for Christmas eve dinner... so I will make them for our get together next week..I am also thinking I will make another batch of summer sausage this week.. will be good to snack on that night...and I want to make one more batch to tweak the recipe just a bit more before I start using the venison. Im improving with each batch lol.

Today I finished slicing the ham that I could get off and made ham and cheese muffins for breakfast , and put the bone on to cook... we are in the middle of a very rainy dreary storm.. and I love soup when it rains.. I will probably make homemade egg noodles to go in it.. along with some whole wheat rolls....

My DSS is very much wanting to run today.. he has a couple of gift cards that I beleive are burning a hole in his pocket....I dont have much interest in running today....but we will see... might   tell DH this would be good bonding time and I can  stay home and spin:>  My Daughter works at Macy's and says its crazy in town right now....I would love to get some good deals, If I had the money lol,  but I dont do crowds well.  Hope you all have a wonderful day...
