Hectic Heaven

I decided to go all out tonight beings as DH is working days this week and usually we don’t have the dinner meal together… I made pork chops, with cream of mushroom gravy, corns seasoned just right, and mashed potato’s. I was just finishing up with the extremely creamy mashed potatoes.. I took a small taste just to make sure that it was seasoned to perfection…it needed just a tad more salt, just a tad mind you.. Reaching over I grabbed the salt shaker and as I tipped the shaker, the lid fell off into the potato’s… followed by billions of grains of salt, it looked like a mini blizzard… I stood there in shock, absolute disbelief looking at what must have been a ¼ cup of salt in my mashed potato’s… my first thought was to pitch it and make more… but not enough potato’s.. have to go shopping tomorrow.. So I grabbed a spoon to try to salvage what once was a lovely pan of creamy spuds…. I got as much as I could out and mixed the rest in… It’s a TAD on the salty side now, but edible.
