Rainy Sunday

Well not the whole day  .. but this afternoon it started and its still going strong... DH and I got the deer in the freezer this afternoon... and have about 18 lbs of meat to make summer sausage out of.... I will go help my dad get his deer in the freezer on tues. my SS had to work today so I will take him over with me tues and teach him how to do it...DH has to work...

I spent some time spinning flax today... I am anxious to try some more... so far I think between flax and hemp I like the feel of hemp better.. I love spinning wool.. and am looking forward to trying out some alpaca.. I talked to a lady about renting a loom for a month or so.. I need to work on getting some sashes woven...

It will be a quiet Thanksgiving for our family this year... my two brothers and sister are going to other places for dinner.. there will be about 8 of us for dinner... gosh thats probably the smallest Thanksgiving Ive been to, in  well forever... oh well they will all be back for Christmas eve.....

9 days until my wheel gets delivered.. by then I might be able to have the corner where I want to put it cleaned out...

I have quite a bit of soap to get wrapped in the next few days... so its probably best....
