Nice quiet afternoon

I have to return the wheel I have been borrowing tomorrow... I will be very happy when I can get my own wheel, but I fear that will be awhile coming:< I woke up this morning in a shear panic, because I realized I probably wont have any subbing so to speak this month...  I do have lots of soap made and will get that out for sale soon.. I am going to take baskets around to the different schools I work at and take orders for it.. did pretty good last year...so that should help...

On a lighter note, I did spin a bit more of the  mohair wool I have, and  a small sample of hemp that was sent to me... I plied some of the mohair.... It sure is pretty, slick, but pretty.      Yesterday my daughter and I finally finished getting her loom warped and she weaving away now...

I was thinking about Christmas this morning...I have six nephews.... we all do the pre-1840 fur trade re=enacting so Im thinking for Christmas each one will receive a woven sash from their ole auntie...for their rondy costume.  

My Dh is as work, as is DSS, and my DD should be home soon.. so we will have a bit of time to relax and visit, sometimes it seems like there is never quite enough time.  It was just the two of us for quite a few year.. its kinda nice to have some alone time... hope everyones day is going wonderfully.....
