Hectic Heaven

I think the spinning bug bit me very HARD!

Last weekend I went to an open house type deal at the local  knitting/weaving/spinning shop and got a chance to get my hand on a spinning wheel..  MY oh my... I sat there for probably three hours... what a relaxing (well after the first hour) hobby...The spinning wheel I used  was a very old, very simple, castle type spinning wheel. 

 I think I may have to take up knitting just so I have a reason to spin.... I have been researching  spinning wheels (read this as drooling over) I  am kind of thinking I would like to get an Ashford Traveller.   I am interested in also weaving fairly fine yarns as I learn.. would this wheel be a good wheel for that?... boy my toy list just keeps on growing...
