Hectic Heaven

winding down or winding up...

that is a good question... usually this time of year it seems like things are slowing down, finishing up and getting ready for the  semi laziness that winter seems to bring.... but for some reason it seems like things are spinning, sometimes crazily out of control and other times in a  semi controlled fashion.

I have been working quite a bit lately.. I spent a couple of weeks at night doing custodial work and I have decided I do NOT want to do that, while I dont mind filling in I dont want to know that I HAVE to go to that job every day.. so I chose to not apply for the position that came open.. and closed today...I am very at peace with this decision.   I have  been working in a class this week as a sub, a special needs class... I have really enjoyed it.. I think once I get the hang of their schedule I would really enjoy this  work... Its a challenge,  and while some days seems like a  bucking horse you cant get off, other days are very  nice and you see the sweet side of these youngsters... I have applied for the job that is open in this class... and while I'm sure they have others that are probably more qualified, I find myself hoping I get this job.   Not because it will give me a regular paycheck, but because,  I think/hope maybe I can make a difference in these kids life...I have an interview on tueday at 3:45:>

Next week I will be subbing for a lady that has also applied for this job and is working in the classroom to see if its something she would like to do.... well keep your fingers crossed for me...

Tomorrow DH is going to take our primitive camp and set up at the local harvest festival,  we will spend most of the weekend there showing folks what it is that we do... I am trying to get a weaving project set up to work on while I am there this weekend...  We have done this the last two years and its so much fun to do... I also got the ok to set up  and sell some of my soap.

well better go get the loom warped...

I enjoyed reading your blog entries. Enjoy your weekend. What kind of soap do you make. It seems popular to make your own soap. Is it hard to do? I hope you get the right job.
till next time

I'm glad you're having fun working with these kids. It's a great job. I hope you get it. Have a great week-end. I wish you weren't so far away, I'd love to come and see your demo.
God bless,
Rhonda

Busy, as usual

Good luck with the interview and hope you get your job!

We lost our little 1/2 dog yesterday. Guy in the truck who hit him stopped and apologized. Not his fault; we don't have a fence. He sure loved his mom!

Gave a bar of your soap to a coworker today.

Best wishes. Rain
