Hectic Heaven

Fall

Its really starting to take on a fall look here in Sam's Valley, the trees are slowly changing color, the morning air has that wonderful coolness to it, and it smells so good ...  I think Fall is probably my second favorite season (following spring), because of the warmth of the day and the coolness of the nights and all the wonderful colors...

I enjoy the blustery winds that come with fall  I love it when the leaves swirl down around me as the wind blows... Its time to pull out all those good hearty soup recipes and good whole grain rolls to go with them.... mugs of spiced cider and hot tea....

I also look forward to the first nice soaking rain, the smells and freshness that comes with the world getting a bath after a long dusty summer...

Its nice to have time to sit here and ponder my feelings and write them down... it seems I have not had much time to do that this summer... but then summer is the season of work, I think.

I am sitting here tonight because if I move to fast or breath to deep my back grabs and feels like its about to put me to my knees...Unfortunatley this rest period comes at a very inopportune time for me... I was supposed to  sub as a Teachers assistant this morning for the first time at a new school I have wanted to get into.. but had to call and  cancel... I also had to cancel my custodial job for this afternoon... The upside is I get to see my daughter for a few hours instead of talk to her on the phone:>

 Unless I get some calls I will be off most of next week.. which is probably good, because next weekend we will go get my SS in California, he wants to move up here.  The next week or two after that I have a  Teachers assistant job lined up, I am looking forward to trying my hand in the special ed class... I just hope I have the patients to work with these special spirits...I hope all is going well in everyone elses corner of the world

So sorry to hear about your back. Enjoy your time off. Your job in the special ed. class will be great. I worked with special ed for five years and it was the second best job I ever had-first being a wife and mom of course.
