Hectic Heaven

what a day!!! and its still early

I pulled on my shift warmed the baby bottle and headed with my bucket and the bottle out to the barn,  I fed baby and realized he had downed his bottle in  3 minutes flat... hmmm in checking the nipple found a hole at the top,  mental note, gotta get a new one later today.  Put a bit of grain in the momma's bucket and a handful in the babies  and as Pam got up on the milk stool I stuck it in the pen for the babies to munch on... for the first time in several days I actually got enough milk to fill Jr.s bottle.. little sister is eating well these days.   Pam was getting antsy so I reached over to strip her out before I let her go, about then she kicked and caught my nice full bucket, flipping it out of my hands and down the front of me...into my sandles.  I finished up outside and headed back to the house with my empty bucket, soppy dress and shoes,  well now I will have to go buy him some milk as well.... what a start.....

After I got thru explaining what happened to DH and he finished laughing, the tears started, so now I was laughing and crying at the same time... uggg  I guess the hormones are kicking in...I think Ill just go back to bed...all by 8 am

I went and put in an aplication at the school across the creek..sure would be nice to get a job that close to home... I also applied for a position that would be working with the children (babies& toddlers) of high school students...but I think I will probably be subbing again this year... actually I kind of enjoy subbing  new things and some days you dont have to work:>  But here is something that has me some what confused.. I will blame it on hormones but its still strange just the same....

Last year I subbed  as a custodian for several weeks at one of the grade schools,   in June the fella that was custodian there retired,  so Im thinking I will apply for this job when it comes up..and actually thought I had a good chance at getting it...

I worked at the high school all summer and they put one of the new subs over at this school to help out for the summer... well now it appears he all but has this job sinched up.. they are just going the the motions before they hire him... now here is the confusing part.. during the summer I figured out that I really didnt want to spend the rest of my working days as a custodian, although I dont mind subbing for them... I had pretty much decided I didnt really want the job... course DH wants me to get it and wants me working full time... so I guess I should be pleased it will go elsewhere... but Im not... oh well nuff musing for one day.... think Ill go weave a bit.. have a happy day all
