not alot going on at the moment, kinda hot so I camp out inside in the afternoon and work some on my weaving, and some on the computer.  The garden is producing as well as can be expected for having to compete with all those weeds out there... we have havested a few of our tomatoes... the cherokee purples are my favorites so far,  we have gotten some of the  mr stripey  and to me they have a tart almost lemony bite to them...  my mom sure enjoys them... the black krums are just coming on and the one I tried it pretty good.. still not my favorite though.... we did have a few of the wonderberry plants and ground cherries make it thru, and the jury is still very much out on them.. they are way different from anything I ever et before  lol.  we are picking some green beans and corn, the zuchinnis are doing pretty good as well... I think the carrots are doing well they never make it in the house... DH enjoys them  :> We had a couple messes of taters from our garden... those yukon golds are VERY good.  Cabbage did will this year...we ate lots of coleslaw and  a dinner dh likes...easy quick and pretty cheap...

about 6 slices bacon

two packages  ramen noodles cooked and drained  no seasoning added

several cups of chopped up cabbage

water chestnuts and zucchinni  these are optional but I had some on hand and they were good in it...

cook the bacon crisp  and  break it up... drain som of the bacon grease and add cabbage cook until its kinda wilted  add bacon and drained noodes in and stir it up.... add  some soy sauce,  sesame oil and the seasoning packets to taste... usually about 1 1/2 does it for us.. the soy sauce and sesame oil are optional but again a good addition..   and serve it up... Have a great day:>

I think I'll try the recipe. My neighbor gave me the biggest Dutch flathead cabbage I've ever seen, after five nights of coleslaw, it's time for something new.
