Hectic Heaven

It's raining, its pouring

It has pretty much rained non-stop today, It has been a fairly blustery day, which puts me in the mood for a good mug of hot soup and a crusty slice of homemade bread. .. I think I will make some  ham and  homemade egg noodle soup, but it will have to happen tomorrow..forecast to be another VERY rainy day

I work at headstart and it has been pretty busy these last couple days... I am training my replacement,  yup only 3 more days, and trying to make sure all the loose ends are tied up before I go.  I am going to be subbing for the local school district as a  Teachers Aide,  with hopes of getting on there sometime in the future.  I am also hoping that subbing will free up a bit of time so I can work towards expanding my  goats milk soap business. 

I feel very excited and terrified all at once,  this is a good change, things just seem to be falling into place which makes me feel this is the direction I  am meant to be heading.  

I am going to post each time the simple pleasures I have been aware of for the day, it helps keep me looking at the positive things in life.   

Simple Pleasures for today:

listening to the happy sounds of the kids playing in class today

wild birds bathing in the mud puddles..

the  big blue herring sitting by the road,  Im afraid I aggravated him when I stopped to look, because he soon flew off.

Pearl one of my nubian girls nuzzling me, she has a very sweet and curious nature, plus she wanted her food  lol

Its good to reflect on the positive things. "Whatsoever things are lovely,... whatsoever things are of good report..."!
