Hectic Heaven

Nothing like tramping around in the hills

I spent most of today setting up a rifle trail for our Rendezvous next weekend... It was a beautiful day... the sun was shining... a few of those big fluffy clouds would float by every now and then.. a gentle breeze was blowing... the area we are having our rondy in  is such a nice place... it has a line of trees that  boarder on a big open meadow....the wildflowers are blooming  everywhere you look there is color... they tell me there are wild horses and herds of elk that live in that area.. I have not seen them yet .. but sure hope to this time....

We set up 18 stations... my dad, myself and another club member came up later... but I really enjoyed tromping around out there with my dad...I  think I am a little sun kissed tonight... I feel a few warm spots here and there  lol...

DH will be home tomorrow.. he is very dissappointed and I think a little hurt.. after he got down there.. DS decided to fess up that he wasnt going to graduate...so he has spent 4 days down there, and I guess has seen  the boy about 10 minutes a day. He flys back tomrrow... I am just plain madder then a wet hen...I know we all do stupid stuff as kids, as adults to.. but this really took the cake...I think I am more upset by the fact that he just didnt have time to work his dad in his schedule... kinda sad...

The garden is doing well.. I got a handful of raspberry's yesterday.... took a bag of fresh lettuce over for my folks...  I think we may have a race going right now though.. to see if the weeds or the vegies get the biggest.... we are going to have to do some serious weeding soon.  only other thing I can think of.. is Pammy is getting  very "BIG"  gotta be double trouble in the tummy of hers... I'm getting excited about the little kids now...they are always so fun...

Dear Trina,

Just a little note to say that I found you by random blogging this afternoon. The description of your surroundings sounds just beautiful! Our family picked raspberries today - 15 pints from our patch this afternoon. Well, just wanted to leave you a little note of encouragement today - someone has read your musings and been blessed by them.
