Hectic Heaven

friday garden update..

The second row of beans and the corn seems to have come up pretty good in the last 24 hours.   Now we will be able to see just exactly where the corn is since our stakes good moved in watering one day....

We have one itty bitty bell pepper coming on... its about the size of one of those larger sized marbles... the lettuce is growing in leaps and bound and I'm thinking another fresh salad is in our future soon...

Im still concerned about the melons.. they just dont seem to be doing very well.... I may just poke some seeds in the ground just in case...they just dont look to healthy.   The tomatoes seem to be doing well except for the black crum,, not sure whats wrong with him...hope he isnt going the way of the first one we lost...  the beets and carrots are coming up well.. the cabbage is forming heads and looks beautiful...   It seems we are being overrun with weeds already... I think we will have to spend a few hours out there this weekend weeding... lots and lots of little weeds popping up as well... OH!  my ground cherries and huckleberrys are looking healthier today.... 

Last day working at the high school this week.. YIPPEEE... sure does wear me out ...but I like the money lol  Have a wonderful day and weekend...
