Our weekend

We had a pretty nice weekend here... we stayed home.. spent alot of time in the garden.  Got our watering system in place.  Yesterday the sun finally peaked out.. and it warmed up...I planted some cilantro yesterday..I think we will be having lots of  tomatoes, onions and peppers... I really enjoy fresh salsa. 

Today is another gorgeous day here in the Rogue Valley.. I am hoping to start seeing the bean and corns popping out soon, our zuchinni is up...

Saturday night DH was hungry for something off the grill, so we went and bought a couple of small steaks... ohhh my they were so good.. cooked to perfection..I picked enough lettuce for salads  and baked a couple of potato's.. sure was good.... the only thing that would have been better was the potatoes out of our garden  lol...I love it when the vegies and fruits start coming on...they just taste so good.. My favorite summer dinner is... fried zuchini, corn on the cob, sliced tomatoes and  peaches...

I found a recipe that I have been playing with  for making french bread... the first time I added  dehydrated garlic and garlic powder...was sooo good.. today I wanted to make some sandwich rolls for our lunches this week... I used the same recipe but added, 1 tsp of Italian seasoning into the dough, then formed rolls, and to the top, I added  a sprinkle of the  Italian seasoning, and a sprinkle of parmesan cheese... I think they will be very nice sandwiches... I am working  the next four day so I'm trying to get stuff done ahead.... hope everyone is having a wonderful day...

Sounds like you had a nice week-end. Hope your week is going well too. We're not moving yet. Hopefully we'll close on the house on Monday. I'll post some pics.
