Hectic Heaven

The cloths line pole leans sharply to the left, it looks like the lines have not been tightened in years… the birds nesting in the ends of the poles are traumatized… the pole was tougher then the tractor though, because shortly after hitting it, it sprung a leak. All that said we have a new 30 x 50 plot to plant more garden…..

My dad and his John Deere are the ones that wreaked such havoc on my nice quiet little homestead… Bless his heart..

He made two or three passes thru the section he was tilling and I heard a thud and watched, as my clothes line just about toppled… the poor birds flew for their lives and are just now daring to return to check over the damage to their little home… the one redeeming grace is the monster that caused it sat in the yard dripping diesel from a leak…It is fixed now and has gone on to torment others.

We have planted today, cabbage, tomatoes, carrots, beets, lettuce and a few other things I cant seem to remember now…I think my mind got sunburned, I know my nose and bald spot did…

Everything and everybody survived unscathed, well except the leaning pole
