5 things that made me smile this weekend

My eyes were closed most of it.. but here are a few

1. The goats playing under the oak tree

2. the chicken running of the coop when they hear you approacing, to see if you have a treat for them..

3.  Jesse the lab sound asleep with her much loved ball within an inch of her mouth. 

4.  The sight of the lettuce, kohlrabi, and beet starts popping thru the ground.

5.  The apple tree covered in blossoms

I like to hear the frogs singing when I drive by a marshy area, or the crickets chirping on a hot summer night, mostly I like watching the fireflies (lightning bugs) light up throughout the night, it lets me know summer is afoot...
