Hectic Heaven

Busy weekend

Saturday was the master gardeners plant fair,  I bought 6 heirloom tomato plants... an old german, a Mr. stripey, black Krim, cherokee purple, green zebra.  I will be planting others as well but these are some I have been interested in trying... I also bought a rosemary plant, a thyme, sage, oregano and basil plant...we got some walla walla sweet onions starts and some more strawberrys...

Today I planted the onions, a mixed lettuce, kohlrabi and some beets , have the strawberry bed ready for planting tomorrow and hopefully will get the raspberrys planted as well..  We tore down an old chicken pen and moved it away and just in general cleaned up around here...the yard right now is beautiful.. its so green...

I am working again tomorrow night, so other then the strawberry's I probably wont get much done...I have a fella coming out in a day or so to get measured.. I will be making a capote for home... I also have a strap on the loom made with a varigated  yard.. I think with the right leather ends it will make a very nice powder horn strap or  bag strap...

I am putting in for a temporary summer job at the school district.. would sure be nice to have it....

Miss Molly is now on long term antibiotics.. we still dont know whats happening but they seem to keep her feeling good..she appears to be gaining weight and her appetite it great.. she is even wanting to chase balls again.. somethign she hasnt done for quite some time...Take care all...
