Michelle

Michelle hurt hubby and I today.  She and Ryan come down here and dropped off the kids at her soon to be ex-moms-in-law, and drove to San Diego to she Ryan's friend who just go home from serving in the war.   Michelle called to make sure we got the fishing pole she left at our door, I said yes and asked if the kids are having fun.  Michelle says yes they are having a blast , I said good she then said they are with Rhea her soon to be ex-mom-in-law who has not seen the kids in months.  We do not mind them seeing her at all, we are just not liking the way it was done. 

We love Michelle and the grand-babies it is just hard to see them all on the road they are on.  We will be here for them always.

I am so sorry that you are having to go through this. I want to just say cut all ties, as she is just doing anything to hurt you but I know that that is easier said than done.

I have been reading your blog for sometime now about Michelle. I am so sorry you are going through all this heart ache. I can tell you are taking things hard and that you love the grandchildren.

However, I feel compelled to say that you are talking negatively about your daughter, ranting and raving about how you do not like her, her bad decisions, etc. is not very becoming and nor does it solve a thing.

I would love to read that although you do not agree with her decisions and you are disappointed in her lifestyle and her decisions that you still love her and pray for her and the children daily, but I only hear negativeness.

What is wrong with the kids being with the other grandma for a few days??? She hasn't seen them in months and they probably are having an absolute blast! (Sounds like you love the kids, but are mad they didn't come to you??? Sounds almost like jealousy creeping in)

Michelle isn't making the best decisions now a days with her own life, which affects the kids, but you are the grandmother and since she is trying, it would be best if you tried to accept that fact as well woudn't it?? You can't control her, and being bitter and hateful towards her (even here) will only cause your relationship with her to dwindle even more.

If you want to help Michelle, you must make her believe you are here for her best interest and well as the children's. If she needs you close, then be there for her. But now, while she is trying to be the mom (in the best way that she knows how), then let her be mom and commend her for her good actions and decisions. Don't be so on the offence when she decides to do something you don't like. When the kids come to be with you, be the best grandma you can be, but don't try to turn the kids away from their mother in any way (even when she leaves them there for months!!!).

I am upset that she is using you like a yo yo as well. But when what you are doing isn't working, stop what you are doing and try something else.

I know you must vent. You sound like if you don't you would explode dear!!! (hugs) But I am disappointed that you have not been able to take a few steps back (outside the boxso to say) and access the situation for what it is. Don't control, but pray. Stop feeling like you have to step in and do something, and pray that she and you can come together again as loving parent and daughter and that she will be a good mother. Pray that the kids will be well adjusted wonderful kids. Let go dear. And let God!!!

Stop trying to do everything when God is waiting to take over.

You do not read all of my post's or you would see the love we have for her, and where I tell that she is doing good. Nor have you read where we offer her a total free ride for school that includes a home, money to pay for all her schooling, a car, insurances for medical and car, a phone , clothes , food all this for her and the babies. Nor have you read the funny and silly stories I tell about her.

My husband and I stand firm in what we believe and we will not lie. This is my blog and I tell the truth and I am about Michelle. Yes ,we love and yes at time we do not like her along with other people too. I am sure at time other people do not like us either. You can love someone and not like them at the same time. If your are fighting with a spouse, child, parent, etc... you do not like them at that moment, just like they do not like you at that moment, but you never stop loving them. We all get over things and they go back to normal again. But we all have moments of dislike at time. And I told the truth at that moment when she chose to hurt us an purpose I did not like her nor did my hubby.
I would say Read back further to find the stuff you are looking for about Michelle. You might see her as trying, we who know her do not see it at times. And the other grandma has had a drinking problem who let her son's do and keep drugs in her house.
If my telling the truth sounds hateful to you that is your choice. But I will and do tell the truth and I can vent on my blog, I need some where to do it!
Remember judge not least you be judged.
