Answers to Michelle and I do not agree on this:

Some people have left commits on my last post about how Michelle might be jealous because the girls were treated different.  That is true and not true.

Michelle was treated the same as her sisters and different at the same time.  Michelle did things that got her in trouble.   So yes, Michelle was treated different because of the choices she made and the problems she caused.  In our home it is" you do the crime you do the time" meaning you will be grounded for your wrong doing.  But, that is the same for all the girls.  They all have been brought up the same.  The same rules.  They are treated the same.  It was just the choices Michelle made that get her in trouble.  We were not over hard on Michelle just firm.  Michelle choose to be wild , to break all the rules.  My husband and I could not ignore what was being done. 

 I think Michelle wants what her sisters have now, but she is married and living with her boy friend.  We have offered to pay for her to go to school and give her a place to live , also we told her we would fully support her while she would be going to school, that means the babies too.   That is the same we offer her sisters.  We will pay for college and fully support them while they are in school and until they leave home to get married.  This means for all the girls cars, clothes, phones, car and medical insurance, and so on.  We feel it is our job to bring them up right and to support them until they are married (then they become hubbies responsibility) not until they reach 18 years old.

We might be odd that way, but that is how we feel and who we are.  My husband works very hard to make sure he can do this for the girls.

I do agree that some children have to disciplined more than others. We have five children,,,, 1 girl and four boys.... and one of our boys is extremely strong-willed and somedays its a battle all day. But like you said you have to discipline the wrong behavior even if it seems they are in trouble more.

Hello! Thank you for visiting my site and giving me more hope by your comment. Even I am a young mom, I understand your plight. I have been sexually abused too and I gave my parents some headahe but not to the extent of hurting them forever. You are not to be blamed because I can see you did your part as a mother. Some victims like Michelle tend to go into the path she had chosen. You have done everything you could and now I guess it is the time to leave it all to God. Just be strong for the other kids and also for Michelle. I am looking up to you for being a great mom like my mother.

hi; so many things to comment on!

First, thanks for visiting my blog and commenting on my depressing post lol.

2nd, your 150 animal farm sounds fun! I wish we still lived near Palm Springs so we could come see them. We have no animals here due to allergies & husband's disregard for animal life :(

3rd, I admire how your husband and you are going to support your girls until marriage, I wish my parents were as caring so long ago, and I hope we will do the same for our DD.

About your DD Michelle, what a trauma you are enduring. I can relate to her, and you, although our family has never been in court. Instead it was always covered up. Have you done any research on "generational sin"? Today's sermon on the radio (6:30 a.m.) was Mike Kessler and he was saying if a person doesn't "get it" about right vs wrong they just plain need to be saved. I know that was my situation, until one godly man prayed for my soul and 9 months later my life was "ruined" and I had to look up.

About forgiveness; I can relate to it being hard to forgive esp. when the "enemy" never says they are sorry or show any repentance or remorse. I have to deal with that with my husband. John 15:12 says "love one another as I have loved you". That is how I can best see the situation: on the cross Jesus prays "Father forgive them for they know not what they do"- they are not believers, and even though my husband "acts" like a Christian around the public, sometimes I think it's all an act and he must not really be saved. Also, Jesus loved me and called me even when *I* was a filthy arrogant prideful mocker who abused my own body. Makes it a bit easier to extend grace.

homeschooling; I need to pick your brain on how to do high school with college classes. My two oldest are in 9th grade right now and I am stalled on what to do. They were in civil air patrol in Palm Springs but we've yet to get involved in our new town by the ocean. btw my homeschooling blogs are on HSB1:
