Up date on my foot

Today I went to the foot Dr.'s.  He took off my cast and put me in a half cast with an ace bandage.  He told me to take it off 3 times a day to move my ankle around, BUT no weight is to be put on it at all.  I am on bed rest even more now because I could break it again to easy.  No out side , just to the bathroom , to bed and  to the sofa.  The Dr. told my hubby to supper glue me to the sofa!  Hubby tells me I scare the Dr. way to much , because I want to be normal again and do some thing other than sit.  I see him again in 2 weeks, I hope to get a walking cast then.  I will post before and after pictures of my leg later.  We have some of when the cast was just off and then after a bath and a shave.  What a difference.

Glad it is healing well and the cast is off. I had a cast on my arm several years ago and I remember the wonderful feeling of air on my arm when they cut that stupid thing off. LOL

How funny!!! That sounds like something my doctor would have to say to my Joe! I hope you are feeling better soon... make sure you rest your foot and don't try to do too much!!! With much love, Mrs. Joseph Wood

I bet it felt so good to have that cast off. Did you hear your leg breath a sigh of relief! ha ha Do make sure that you take it easy still for awhile. It won't be long now before you are up and going again.
