2-20-08 I hope , I hope.

I go to the foot Dr.'s in the morning, I hope this cast comes off for good.  I had the x-rays done today and my normal Dr. looked at them and said the foot Dr. did a good job and that it looks good and well healed.    I have been in a cast for 8 weeks , if the foot Dr. has his way I will be in a cast for 14 weeks!.  The Dr. will have to take this one off as I have been helping it to come off .  It has become broken at the bottom where my toes are due to me moving my toes too much.  So I cut it off where it was broken.  I hope he will put in a removable support cast so I can take it off wash my leg! 

Hubby has been working his tush off doing house work.  The girls have slacked off some.  I is hard for them to run the house and run the ranch.  It was even harder with the grand-babies here.  So hubby is helping them.  I feel so bad that he is doing my job.  I was crying over it and he told me he is doing it because I can't and it needs to be done  and the girls need help.  We talked about it and  he made me feel some what better, but it is still hard.

The good thing is that hubby sees how much I do , he had no clue as how much work it really is to run the house, care for about 100 animals, run the ranch, build the ranch, home school the 2 babies left at home, and build the dog kennel, dog training business.  He used to wonder why I could not get all of the thing done in 1 day, well now he lives it and see it,  One good thing about my broken leg.

 I will post about the Dr.'s visit as soon as I get home from it.

I can't imagine how much torment it would be to have to wear a cast for so long. I had to wear a boot for about 4 weeks and I hated it, but at least I could take it off when I wanted.

It's hard seeing our hubby's doing our work for us when we're unable, but I agree it is nice for them to see how much we do some days.

I'll be praying for you my friend!
