The Ranch need to dos
Today I got out of the house and went to the ranch. I saw that the pigs have lost weight because they have not been wormed. So we wormed them and I got to help . I sat on a bucket out side the pen and held the snare for Tommie pig. Tommie pig is dd pet. It felt good to sit at my ranch and watch the animals do their thing. I can NOT wait until I am able to get up and around at my ranch. I am hoping my visit on the 20th the Dr. will take off this blasted cast and let me start to use my leg. It is a BIG hope because he said I am not to put any weight on it until the end of March. But I have so much to do. The girls are feeding and watering but they are leaving a mess everywhere. I have to order my wormer's for the other animals. We are going to sell some of the animals. Maybe sell 3 to 4 of the goats( 2 of the goats are pregnant, 1 is mine who will stay forever the other is Buttons who is a meanie)and sell about 25 chickens.
I need to rototill the garden area and put a new fence around it. I need to build a round pen , an arena, fix the barn and barn roof. I need to build some new corrals for borders. I need to grade the land, fix fencing, take down the Jr hog pen, take in all the extra metal. I could go on. This injury is putting me behind. Not listed is the stuff that needs done at the house, that list later.
God Bless. mj

On the Farm
I bet it felt food to get out and about but do be careful. There's no sense in being in a hurry and injuring your foot just to end up in that cast longer! I remember when I had my whloe leg in a cast for an ankle injury. Oh the days I wanted to get up and walk on it drove me crazy. Back then the cast were plaster and I would cut an inch off the top, which was at my knee, hoping that it would relieve some of the weight. he he
I wish I was closer to help you, as I would love to be out of this snow and around the animals that you have there at your farm.
Have a good day
Debbie
