Some of our rescues

Here is a picture of 2 baby Humming birds from Emma the mommy bird.  Emma lays her eggs every year in our purple tree.  Every year the babies fall out and we save them.  Emma come talking to our door we set out the babies and she feeds them, when she is done we bring them back in.  This is spring 07 babies:

Here is some pictures of our house pigs.  Piglet did not make it but we tried so hard.  Here is piglet:

Here is Jo-Jo.  My dbd (baby daughter) stole Jo-Jo from her brothers sow when he sold his litters.  Ok he knew she took him and did not care.  Jo-Jo lived but he never grew over 100lbs and was not good for much so he was sold.  We did not need a 100 lb pet pig. She had a choice of what pig to keep she kept Ee of course.  Here is Jo-Jo:

Next we have number 3 and 4 of our cats.  Our dmd (middle daughter)  brought home these two from her job at a horse ranch (not ours0 when they were two weeks old.  The are Moose and Chub-Chub:

Ok this next picture is of Hope my Golden who gave birth to a litter of Golden wolves.  Yes they are 1/2 golden and 1/2 wolf.  But if you look you will see Pee-Wee a baby goat.   Yes she Pee-Wee lived in our house.  We tried so hard to save her but she did not make it.   Here is Pee-Wee and the puppies/cubs:

Next here we have 1 of the rescue horse April.  April was in her 30's when we saved her from a 4H leader.  He left her and Cody (next Horse) in a 30 by 16 pen for 3 yrs! No shots, no trims, no grooming, nothing!  April passed this past summer.  When had to put her down as for she was blind, having seizures, lost all the weight we put on her, she was just hurting herself by running into things.  Here is April when she 1st come home to us:

Next we have Cody April semi son.  The 4H leader bought Cody when he was 6 months old.  So April became his mommy.  We still have Cody. Our dbd (baby daughter) is riding him while we are looking for a new horse for her.  Cody is only able to be ridden lightly, due to his being stuck in that pen for so long he is lame in both front legs.  As was April.  Here is Cody:

I love seeing all the pictures of the animals. Especially the piglets in the shirts....how adorable!!!

What precious pictures! I am sorry you lost some of them. It is so hard when you get attached and they don't make it. I would probably wind up with them all as pets, so it is a good thing I don't let myself get too close.
