Update and my Dr

I thought I was doing better, but that is what I get for thinking!  I am only able to sleep for about 15-30 minutes at a time.  I have not been hungry , nor drinking enough water and it caught up to me.

Tues I went to my normal Dr's as I do on Tues, I got my allergy treatment ( accup). I told him I was not feeling good still.  He said I do have a bad cold on top of my surgery.  He had me drink 2 glasses of cold water and kept taking my blood pressure , it keep getting lower with me feeling worse and more dizzy!  He said ok time for an i.v.  I was moved to a bigger room, the girls called hubby, he left to come to me.   After a 5 + hour Dr visit he told me to take better care of my self or I will not heal! During the 5 hour visit my Dr kept checking on me and seeing how I was doing.   He told me I was badly dehydrated? (spell??).  I need to eat more and drink more.  Later that night my Dr called me at home to check on me again, and he called me today also.  My Dr took me in to check me out and to make sure my emergency surgery went right a fews days after I got out of the hospital.  Oh, and this was after his own surgery!

I love my Dr. He is the only Dr who found out what is wrong with me and has mad a huge difference in my health (I thank God for sending me to hi)  My Dr's medical group center is a hard one to get into.  My Dr is the hardest to get into.  You will hear of some people waiting 3-6 months to see him, they can just call in and go see him that day.  My Dr does not see children.

Us with my Dr.  I can call him to see him and get in the same day. I call his line , not the medical groups line.  This Dr knows my medical chart backward and forwards.  My Dr sees all my children and he knows their charts the same.  He even See's the grand babies free of charge and lets us bring them in with out an appt. He gives us samples of some medicine for a few months.   My Dr really cares about us, talks to us, listens to us, makes sure we understand everything. He will praise us when we do good or when I get one step closer to healing, or when my allergy numbers go down, he talks about the girls going to school/college, helps them by finding info on it for them in the stuff they are interested in, he talk to the girls as a grandpa and a friend.  He will tell me when I am not doing as good to get up dust my self off and try again, tell me what I am doing wrong and help me fix it, gives me a firm talking to when I need it . My Dr shows he care and I/we are not just a chart number.

What I do not like about the medical group is when I have to take mdd (middle daughter) in to urgent care and the Dr wont listen to me about her health history or medicine ( my Dr always has to fix things and tell them to listen to me, they love that )  The clerks you sign in with ask who the girls Dr is and I say, They say "no not yours, theirs" so I tell them again, "but he does not see children" I say he does mine! .  They just don't get it. But they have had the same clerks for some time.   Most of them know us by our 1st names.  You should see the looks we get of others to see the Dr's.  Like does she work here?  One clerk saw the look and said I just live there!  And boy do I ever.

I hear such sad stories about Dr's who could care less and do not listen to the people.  I wish all Dr's would remember what they became a Dr for .  I wish everyone had a Dr like mine.  A Dr who really loves what he does and it shows.  My Dr has cancer , but still works to help  us.   I thank God for him, a Dr who is good who listens, who kicks my but when need, who holds my hand when I cry, to help my grand babies, to love and care for my girls, to be a role model for my girls. Who tells us to read the bible, it is all in Gods hands.   He is just a blessing to us , from God.  Thank you God.

My favorite thing he has ever told me is " he can never heal me, only God can heal, and he will be a helper if Gods wills him to be".

Sorrrry to goooo ooon I am just thankful for God blessing us with him.

It is good to find a DR you can trust and rely on. Hold onto him!

A Dr. who truly listens is worth his weight in gold! One who is wise enough to listen to the leading of God, well, he is a priceless treausre! Thank you, God, for sending MJ to the perfect person for her!
I know you are right about those fresh eggs too, MJ, because we got seven this morning, and they tasted just as good as the first two!
