My Dad , a Market update and a question advice wanted

My Dad is doing better today. I think he might make it after all.  He is talking about looking for a new place to live and keep his new job. I am still worried about him.  I hope he keeps this train of thought going.  He wants to have a good relationship with his grand daughters and a better one with me.  I hope he keeps his word on this. My dad has some much music to share with our daughters, so much history on music, all his records he made and so much more.  Dad is talking about coming out for Christmas, We hope he does.     I want to say thank you for all you prayers and kinds words. 

  I ask for you to still keep him in your prayers.  I see a difference(good one) in him each day. I believe it is from everyone praying for him. Thank you again. I love how we can ask for prayer and receive it from our blogging family. What a blessing we have in the blogging site and family.

Ok here is my market savings.

10 lbs onions reg $1.49 a lb, with my ad it was .8 cents a lb, yes eight cents a pound. I bought 10 lbs.  I was crying so hard today when I was cutting them up to freeze in bags for later use.

Oranges reg .33cents each. my price with ads was .8 cents a lb, yes eight cents a pound. I bought 20 lbs

Iceberg lettuce reg .98 cents a head. I got 3 heads for .99 cents with my ad.

Bananas on sale .33 cents a lb( reg .50 cents a lb).  I got 5 lbs for .99 cents with my ad. I bought 10 lbs.

Butter reg .50 cents each , with my ad buy 1 get 1 free.

Breyers ice cream reg $3.49 each, with ad buy 1 get 1 free.

Green onions reg .79 cents with ad .25 cents each, I bought 4.

Granny Smith apples reg $1.79 a lb , with my ad 6 lbs for .99 cents. I bought 12 lbs.

Jalapeno peppers reg $1.48 a lb, with ad 4 lbs for .99 cents. These guy will be chopped and frozen for later use. More crying for me!

2 Huge boxes of Luvs diapers reg $19.99 , with ad they were $14.99 each for 120 diapers so I bought 2. Wally's brand was only $1.00 cheaper with 16 less diapers a box.

Betty Crocker cake mixes reg .97 each, with ad 78 cents, so I bought 8.

Skippy peanut butter reg $1.99 each with ad $1.00 each , I bought 5.

Frosting for the cakes $1.69 each with ad $1.00 each , I bought 4.

Of course I bought a few other things, tape, tons of baby food!!!  My granddaughter Maddie eats 6-8 jars a day!  I do also feed her big people too. My daughter Michelle Maddie's mom feeds her big people food all the time. But for me at 19 months with very few teeth I feel she can get out of food what she need if she is just wolfing it down without chewing it.  Michelle complained that Maddie is getting fat. I tell her no she is just eating better and her body is using the food.

I realized today that why Jeffie gets so upset if my middle daughter leaves the room or leaves him to go some where.  Is that he is afraid that she will not come back.  Jeffie is more attached to our dd than his mom and has been for so long.   I like that he has a mom , it is just no his real mom.   My dd who is 17 years old is the adopted mother of her soon to be 3 yr old nephew.  I thank God that He gave Jeffie to her to be his mother, because he needs a mom in his life. One who does everything for him. My dd trains him up right. I love how she has taught him to pray  and about Jesus.  My dd will make a good mom for her own babies, because she is  a good mom to Jeffie.

  I have a odd question to ask, I would like some replies to.  Ok here it is: I have a very well trained dog a Golden who will be 13 yrs old on jan 17-08.   He is trained for a medical alert dog and passed his test at 11 months old.   He has saved my life and my dd 's(baby one) life a few times.  We hate to see him pass and to lose his bloodline.  He has 11 generations of  no health problems, his daughter makes 12 but she was fixed due to it was to hard for me to see her give birth.  Ok her is my question (after a bit of history) we would like to save some of his sperm so we can breed one of our other female Golden's. He has had so many puppies that help other people who need service dogs. We would like to keep that going and hopefully we could see one of his sons from the frozen sperm who would be like him.  I know no one could ever replace him and that there are so many animals needing a good home( we rescue many animals, too many sometimes). but just to keep this amazing bloodline going for others and us.  I do breed dogs and are not a puppy mill. We have had a 12-18 month long waiting list for his puppies in the past. Most were sold as soon as the were born.  I want to share his amazing bloodline more.   The picture on my page of me, is his daughter.  My baby dd and I are going to college to be a certified service dog trainers, after I have been training them for 10 + years for service and over 20 years for normal training.  So what do you all think am I(we) nuts? Or is this ok?

I am glad your dad is doing better. I know nothing about dogs, so I can't help you there. Good job at the market.

to continue your wonderful dog's bloodline. I lost my absolutely favorite dog (a 13 year old golden) this year in March. I still cry! I wish so badly I had bred him and kept one of his pups:-( I do have another Golden that I love, but no dog can ever be what Bailey was to me!

Wow,,,you have 150 animals? What are they? We are down to only 9, (5 goats, 1 dog, 3 cats) plus chickens and 2 ducks (not sure how many chickens!)

I will pray for your dad!
