A hard day/ 2 deaths in the family , prayer needed

This morning was a hard one for me.  I am not a morning person. I woke up to my cell phone ringing.  It was my father. He was crying so hard I could not really understand him.  He told me his girl friend of 30 years has passed.  What happened was he went out for breakfast and when he left she was sleeping he comes home and he forgot his keys to get back in. So he started to to knock on the door no answer then he tried the windows no answer. He finally got in to find her still sleeping he thought by she had passed on.  My dad found his mother this way in 2002.   I am at such a loss as what to do.  He lives out of state. I told him we will come get him and he can came live with us, he is 61 years old.  I am worried that he will kill himself.  I am his only child , I have given him 3 granddaughters, 1 daughter gave him 2 great grand babies. He and my mom divorced when I was 1 yr old.   I want him to remember he has us still.

When I called hubby at work to tell him we might have to drive to Vegas to pick up my father and what happened , he told me his aunt also passed away. They do not know when she passed or how. As some one checked on her after not being able to get a hold of her for 4 days.  We will find out more later.

What a day. I keep trying to get a hold of my father with no luck at this time.   I am verrrry worried.  I am asking for prayer for my father to keep him safe, to not kill himself.  I will keep you all up to date on him.

How very sad about your daughter! I am very glad you are caring for the babies though. But oh! How they need their mommy! And she is missing out on so much!
I know it is hard to raise children, it is hard with the sisters I nanny for, but no one said being a parent would be easy. And they are more fun then anything else! The things they do and say!
I will pray for your daughter! May God convict her to raise her little babies in a way that honors Him!

I am so sorry for the time that you are going through. If you want, you can call the police department and have them go check up on your father. They will do this. I hope that he will move in with you and see what a joy it is to be around family and play with his grandbabies.

Father, please aid and comfort this family in this time of grief. Flood each member with Your love and mercy, and fill this sister with Your grace and wisdom, as she tries to help her father deal with his loss. Please comfort her husband, as well, as he deals with the passing of his aunt. In the name of Jesus, amen.

Bless your heart, mj, this is such a difficult thing to go through.
Lord, please help this family during this difficult time, give them the peace of Your Presence and the wisdom they will need to decide what to do. In Jesus Name, amen.
