Life Manuals needed

Have you ever wished we were born with life manuals? One that would tell you what/who you will be when you grow up? Tells you where to go to school? Who to date and marry and who not to waste your time with? Wouldn't life be so easy if we had one?

I wish my daughter Michelle was born with one (two would be good, just in case she tossed one away). I feel that Michelle is just so lost. As you have read in the past she just moved up north a month ago with her boyfriend. Now things are not working out with them (like we told her it wouldn't). She is only working 2 nights a week , not enough to support her and the babies. Her boy-friend is working a good job and was helping to support them, but now they are done/over. Michelle does not know what to do. She has court in a few days to finish her divorce and needs to be down here, but he wont let her use the truck. He will bring her down but want her to drive back up in her car. She says her car wont make it back up.

What are we to do? I do not want to always be the one (her dad and I) who save her from everything. I mean she has to learn some day, doesn't she. We told her we will take the babies back , that they could live here again, but she said no she is not going to do that again. So what the babies suffer?  I tell he to take the train down for court, but she says it is too much money. Hello you make the price of the tickets in tips on one weekend. Ugh, what to do.

I just wish some times that there was this life writing from God that told her step by step what to do with her life. Like as to who to marry, where to go to school, not to cheat on her husband and have the other guys baby( we love the baby just the same), work, dating etc..... She has walked away from God and how she has been brought up. We just want to hit her up side the head with a 2x4 to wake her up! 

We all wonder sometimes did I make the right choice, but to live your life with making the wrong choice to another wrong choice and so on it bad. It is hard to say this is my child who is doing this.

We tell her to focus on getting her life on track a good job , a home, a way to support the babies she has, with out having another hopefully( she has already lost one baby from her boyfriend).

What are we parents to do? We love her, support the babies, they lived with us up until a month ago. But we can not keep digging her out! She has to learn to stand on her own. If she can't care for the babies right , give them back to us. We are the only stable home they have even known, it killed us to give them back to her, but we did. We tell her that if they ever come back we want guardianship so they can have health care( they do not know) and be in control of their lives.

I do not know what to do. Any ideas? any 2x4"s.

I have 5. They all know it all, believe me. 4 are married. Two have been married twice..I don't think they always made the right choices. One married, but it wasn't a good choice and the other married a good guy. The single one lives with her guy, doesn't want kids and doesn't want tied down. This is NOT how any of them were raised.

I always have to bale them out of something, but they never seem to learn. I don't know what they will do when the parents are unable to bale them out.

Most of my friends have similiar cases and so I know it just isn't me, but it doesn't make life fun!

I donthave grown kids but my aunt who is the sweetest person possible and did everything for her kids has watched as each one turned their backs on God... Whats more is they generally use petty excuses.. Shefeels like she has been promised by God that they will make it but in the mean time its hard to see that. One will probably be going to jail for a while and he has 2 kids to support. the other doesnt care about her kid and leaves her husband and son to go off with "friends" On top of other things. the other one is not as bad but after several years of marriage he is getting divorced and they werent raised this way!! She said God let her know tht as much as she loves her kids HE loves them MORE! He created them and he wants to save them. When she told me that I was just like WOW you are right! We are just given the children by him but he is the one that created them and loved them and chose them!! Our love could never compare to his.... Just a thought! I dont have any 2x4's handy either... I hope your daughter gts things straightened out. I cant imagine how painful it is to watch those babies not get what they need. Praying for you!
