Hard Time

We are having such a hard time without the grand babies.  We miss them so much. When we last saw them Michelle (our daughter) would not even let the babies out of the car! We had to go to the car to see them at 10:30 ish at night, Maddie's 1 year was so happy to see us she was trying to get out of her car seat, we all kissed her and talked to her, then baby bean (my dd 15 yrs)  was kissing her Maddie's started calling her mommy again and reaching out for her. Jeffie 2.5 yrs was as mad as a wet hen , no he was madder! he would not look at us to much after we told him he had to stay in the car and he was going to his new home. I feel so bad here he was home, our home the only real home he has even known, he wants to go in his house and here we are telling him no, he has to go with his mommy to his new home, he just looked mad and lost my dd 17 yrs has been his mommy for so long, here he is with his real mommy and lost. We have tried to talk to him on the phone but he wont yet , I think he is soooo mad.  I talked to Michelle , she says her divorce is being held up do to her ex-husband opps so to be ex-husband has filed a new order. She told me they were divorced months ago!! I told her she may have to move back down here because the judge could decide it is to far for the ex-hubby to drive to see the kids it is about 4 hours away. They will have a child support order done and custody done too. Michelle asked if I could babysit I asked her for the day and told her I would check my day runner to make sure we are free, well we are free so of course we will babysit them. We all have talked hubby and our babies and we agree that if the grand babies come back to live here we will try to get guardianship of them, enough is enough.   It has been a hard week and a half I have been running behind in my household chores and stuff because we all have been sad and no getting much sleep because dd 15 yrs and I are up every TWO hours feeding her cat. Chub-chubs doing better we still have to force feed him, but he is eating 120cc's of food each day , that is up from 60cc's over a week ago. Chub-chub is getting his strength back he tries to fight us when we go to feed him and he is playing with his brother. We force feed Chub-chub because we do not want to put a tube in his side going into his tummy. The tummy tube would be in for a few weeks he would have to go under to get it and go back under to remove it, that is to much for him at this time, if we can not get him to eat for us like we do now then we will think about it. What is it about some vets ? They do not think some owners know what is best for their pets? They were shocked that We knew what they were talking about and how much we knew about the surgery they we talking about and different treatments that could be done to avoid surgery. So time I think they are just out to make money. It is like do this surgery at such and such cost or your pet will die, That is basically what we were told, I offered up different ways to treat him with out surgery, they were like oh you know what your talking about. After that we took Chub-chub with his medicine and the special diet to feed him and his is doing good. Chub-chub is holding his weight , using his kitty box , talking to us he is not as yellow as he was, as long as he is fighting so will we. A word to pet owners: you know your pet better than a vet, you know what you can and can not handle, if there is a different treatment and you can devote your time to the animal then see if you and your vet can do working together. That is what our family vet and I are doing.  It was a different vet who did not know us or our experience with animals, that our vet sent us to for the sonogram.  God gave us the animals to care for, each one is a gift from him, we want to do the best we can for them so we apply what we have learned and go to the vets when is something we can not do and sometimes just to make sure we got it right.  Our vet has been my vet for many years, I got him when I was 13/14 yrs old and I will be um 38 soon(shhhh).
