Fun stuff Great weekend Huge blessing

This weekend was a blast!  We flew in my dad and his girlfriend to a concert held in his honor. It was the band tree reunion 2.  Most of his students were there and 95% of them thought he died with Rickey Nelson in the plane crash. It was great tons of tears for everyone. I meet so many people I grew up hearing stories about. I was able to faces to names.  This did so much for my dad. He was feeling  down. He felt like he did not do much with his life. He made a lot of music, sold  albums, But do you know what was important?  It was making a difference in kids life( the kids he taught to play the guitar and the bands he put together). What a blessing. There were 60 + of his former students at the concert all of them just thanked him and told him how much he means to them even today. They told him what a influence he made on their lives that is still there today.  It was a huge blessing to us all, thank you God. Dad is now going back to his music, it is where his heart and sole are. They are going be making more albums , songs of thanks and praise to our Lord.  They are already planning another concert in a year or two.   I think this is the medicine he need, to feel like he did some thing, most of all his renewed faith in our Lord.  Thank you God.  Thank you for listening, had to share some good news after the trouble with our daughter. Michelle did not go to support her grandfather. But the two babies at home did and what a blessing for them, they got to see grandpa in action. How this all got restarted is a girl in the year book class ( we have classes with our church for us homeschoolers) was telling the babies about a song she was trying to learn and told us who wrote it, I told her how to say the name right. She was like ok, I told her that was my dad and other kids in the class heard of him. So the babies and I started looking up his name on the Internet to get more info on the stuff he did(dad does not remember all he did, he has been in the music industry since 1963/64 at 15/16 yrs old) we found one of his students were looking for him. I e-mailed him we talked on the phone he gave my e-mail out to so many people ( I told him it was ok)  and as they say the rest is history. God is good, what a blessing. Thank you students of his, you helped him find his way again, your helped him find God!  I will post picture and maybe a u tube of him playing. All the praise for this goes to God.
