Menu mix up

Well we did kinda stick to the menu, but we got the days mixed up. We had chicken tonight but cooked a different way but yum yum. It rained so much here in so calif. Our sows love it they have so much water in thier bedrooms they could swim ( over 2 ft deep in the mud holes). Needless to say they are in hog heaven.LOL. All the freash bedding we put in with the chickens, turkeys, Mr.moo and sows bedroom before the storm need to be changed again today, talk about mud city. We used 2 straw bales and 2 shaving bales. Mud, mud and mud.

But I must say the chickens like the mud they gave me 18 eggs today, these are the same girls that gave 5 eggs a day a few weeks ago if I was lucky.   I kinda hope they keep it up,

we are giving eggs to so many people, but some people want store bought eggs , because they look better I tell them they wash the eggs in bleach and are not organic, ok my mom is one of them. She thinks I am crazzy because we raise orphan goats, pigs and what ever in the house ( i was brought up with dogs, cats, bunnies, her friend had a dairy that where it comes from she says). this is jo jo the pig he is in a diaper and onesie, next we have the house ducks on the dog bed,

now we have one of our rescues pero the hummingbird he is with our Lord

then we have the 2 kittens the girls saved when their eyes were still closed, they are mini and mittens.

I have to say I love your piggy picture!!!! I would love to have pigs but I haven't convinced DH of them yet. We looked at a house near a commercial pig farm in the middle of summer so that might have something to do with it. LOL! But that little one is so cute! I am new to Homesteadblogger, but I am really excited to have found it & look forward to seeing more of your pictures.
