I am reading the book the coupon mom and I am learning a lot. Did you know that hunger is growing at the fastest rate among the working poor? I did not. The book has some good / sad info in chapter 9, it says some people that work full-time minimum wage jobs earns less than $11,000 a year putting in 40 hours a week.

The coupon mom talks about a book by David Shiper called the working poor; invisible in America,

states a man who washes cars does not own one, the clerk who files cancelled checks at the bank has $2.02 in her bank account, a woman who copy-edits medical textbooks has not seen a dentist in a decade. It is so sad , I never thought of it like that.

I see my daughter is like this, she is divorcing her husband , she works full time and brings home less than $1000. a month. Her husband does not help with the 2 children they have. My husband and I have been feeding, clothing, taking care of the babies ,  they have no medical coverage the medicine they  get cost us a LOT one was $74.99 but one of my daughters at home ( we have 2left) the same medicine cost us only $4.00 with  our insurance. We have helped her get a car and offered to help her as much as we can. But boy is it  hard out there.

We offered her a chance to rent the house on our ranch we are buying real cheap, she told us she could not afford it , so we have it to be rented to some one else along with 1/2 acre for more than 1/2 of the new house payment. She now wants the house because she might be able to get a room mate for it, we told her we will see . We told her we will see as we will need the income to help with our payments. What are we to do? We waited months for her to think about it before we offered it to some one else.

I am still going nuts over so much that has to be done for our move, so much work here and getting the land ready for our new modular home. Getting the land ready for the renters and moving all the animals around taking down pens moving them and then setting them up again in a new spot.

It is so hard to clean, teach school , pack , take care of close to 200 animals, taking care of the grand babies, I have way to much on my plate!! I am so stressed , some time I take it out on my family, I clean the kids mess it up then I pack , clean again , it never ends!! My girls were so much help with the house but not at this time, They say the will help more so we will see.

This week I am having the carpet, sofas, kitchen chairs clean , cleaning out the garage putting  stuff into storage, putting what has and will be packed into the garage , work on our yard, the house and ranch all and having the realtor over to get the process started of selling this home.

Tooo much for me , I will give each day to God and see what he has me get done each day.
