My List of Things To Do For Our Move

I am sooooo bizzzzy. We are buying our dream. The ranch we have rented for 9-10 yrs is being sold to us. God is so Great! He has even given us help in making our new house payments! We still live in our old home and are still finishing up with the remodeling we have started. When we are done we will sell this and move on to our ranch.

Here is a list of the things us 3 girls need to do for the move.

At the home we still live in:

finish putting in the wood flooring in.

put sod in the back yard.

take down the wolf pen

replace some fencing.

touch up paint in all rooms.

add molding to most rooms.

finish the new bathroom we put in.

tile the new bathroom we put in.

clean the carpets.

replace one broken mirror.

put screens on windows.

replace the back sliding door.

replace and paint the patio.

go through everything, keep, sell, donate,trash.

clean out the garage.

clean out the attic.

pack up the whole house.

and more.

At the ranch we have to:

finish the barn we are building.(us girls)

take down 3 hog pens.( us girls)

make 2 new hog pens.(us girls)
take down the 3 chicken pens(us girls)

make 2 new chicken pens(us girls)

build a new goat pen(us girls)

take down 2 fences(us girls)

take down old feed shed(us girls, we like to destroy)

take down make shift barn(us girls , we like to destroy)

break up all cement on wash rack(us girls)

take down the tree that are in the way(me)

build 4 horse corrals(us girls)

grade the land( mom (me) and hire someone, I like to play with tractors)

build a new arena(us girls)

make a new garden(us girls)

put up a new fence to separate 1/2 acre to rent for storage.(us girls? or hire person)

redo the land plumbing.( us girls)

move the tack storage shed to it's new spot.(by person who delivers the new one but us girls have to move a wood pile and take down 130+fence)

set up area for 2nd storage unit.(a must do by next weekend that means we have to move and set up 2 of the hog pens, us girls)

New home:

order new home ( working on it a modular home)

have a new septic tank put in(hire someone)

have foundation put in( hire someone)

put a new fence around the whole ranch(hire someone)

put in 3 new gates(hire some one)

build 2-3 new dog runs(must have to keep wolf away from one golden, they fight for the top male place)

build 2 new bunny homes( need to not make more cute bunnies!!!!)

put in the pool ( dough boy we got for free)

fence off pool ( we have the fencing)

put in sod ( after house is i)n

make a play yard for grandbabies (after house is in)

put in a drive way ( a gravel one after house is in)

put in a new walk to new house(stepping stones)

put in flower beds( after house is in)

put in new trees

and more......

We girls will hire some people to help with some of the

work but 90 % is going to be done by us!

My husband will help when he can, but he works toooo many hours.

Just a note, I was not raised to do this type of work(my mom thinks I am nuts)

I was brought up to hire peole to do the work for you. But this is the life I want!

God keeps giving us rescue animals to save and care for, my husband pays for them and the up keep of them . I and my girls to help and do our part and more , we can not depend on hubby to do it all. So I (we) have learned how to do it and you can too. God gives you the strenght you need to do his work to glorify him.

What a list you have. Good for you on doing things for yourself. I have learned to do much on my own as well and have a sence of accomplishment when I am finished. My list isn\\\'t as long but I\\\'ve a large one for one person to complete before I can place my home up for sale and relocate closer to work.
