House hunting....

Today we went to look at a house my vet has for sale. A 2 bedroom 1 bath , with a 1 bedroom ,1 bath set on almost 2 acres. The house and the land need soooo much work.

We ran the numbers and we would have a house payment of about $5500.00 a month.

Way to much, We could rent the little house and set up a boarding biz, but, it is just too much.

Why does land cost so much in so calif?  We are going to stay here and keep praying that we can buy the land we rent that our farm is on.  mj

Prices here are creeping up, but not that much! I can't even imagine a house payment that high; I think I'd be terrified!
