A long time, please help need advice.

Wow , I last posted in may , now it is june.

We have been so bizzzzy, the piglets are 5 weeks old now so they do not need care 24 hours a day ( thank God) we have had so many ducks hatch and need cared for. We have the last bunch in the kitchen , they will be going to the out side hutch in about 3 weeks. April the new horse is putting on weight SO good. She only has about 200 more to put on. We do have a problem at the farm though. I have a friend boarding her pig at the farm for free in our pen. I told her that I need them to build a pig pen next to the one thier pig is in. I explaned to her we need to put our Jr. pigs in that pen ( who it is for) because the bottle babies need to go into the baby pen , where the Jr's our now. I told them we have wire the can use and we will help and we have two weeks get it all done.But she has told me only if God says it is ok will she move her pig!! They are also not locking the gate right to the farm , they lock it where a person can flip a wire and the gate is open , then the animals will get out. I have asked over and over for them to lock it right , but they wont do it , they tell me do not worry , but I do. I want the farm animals to be safe. Help what do I do. We use to be close , but the last 4 weeks have been bad. She sees everything that goes wrong as a blessing . She has called for prayer for me to pray for herself  and her husband to die. She also tried to kill her husband by fire.I can not pray for her husband to die .I told her God is in controll of everything , every second , every breath, he will take us home in his time, not when we do not to deal with with our husbands. She is saying the only thing that matters in the world is God. Not her children (4) or her life , home , home schooling, being a proper wife to her husband. I do not understand God is verrry important , but so is the blessing's he gave us. Being a mother is a great job he gave to us moms , teaching our children , serving our husband's they are all ( plus more) the things God has called us to do. Not to just throw away the blessings he gave to us. I do not understand any of this.

 I have putting a large distance between us. I would like for them to butcher the pig ( what they got it for) and just let us be, until God says what to do. I pray for her and her family ask the church for help as what to do, they say give her space keep praying for them. I need to keep my family safe and our farm safe . Any advice would be great. thanks God bless, mj

I don't have any real advice, but I will keep you in my prayers. She's obviously having a crisis of Faith, and using her knowledge to twist things to her view. That's a scary place to be in.
I think I'd wait for her pig to escape, call her that God gave you the sign it's time to put your bottle feeders into that pen, and tell her she should use the supplies you offered accordingly, or accept the sign as that they are not intended to keep the pig.
Of course, that's not real advice.
If she's becoming a real danger to herself and her family, your heart is already guiding you to what you need to do. It's heart breaking, but not as much as to wait to hear of a tragedy you saw coming ...

That's too bad, about your friend. It sounds like a really tough situation. I don't know your exact circumstances, but based on what I know, this is my two cents.

I know you said the church family says to give her space, however if you really believe that she is a threat to herself, her husband, her family, or your animals, I believe that the church should step in and do something (read Matthew 18.15-18 about correcting a fellow church member). As for not caring about anything but God, Proverbs 31 would say differently. Look at all the P31 woman does for her family! And 1 Corinthians 10.31b "....or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God." (NKJV) and Colossians 3.23 "And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men" (NKJV) Everything we do is supposed to be done as unto the Lord, including the "little" tasks like caring for our families.

I can't think of a verse to that covers shutting gates, but if it was me, I would just put my foot down. That's hard for me to say, because I am really (really!!!!) non-confrontational, but you sound very concerned, so this sounds like a serious risk to your animals. (I've had three horses get loose and run down the road so I totally understand.). As hard as it is, I would remind her that her pig is a guest at your house and that whether she likes to or not, whether she thinks it's necessary or not, she needs to follow the rules of your household, which includes shutting the gate correctly.

Above all though, pray! Not just for her, but for yourself too... for wisdom and words on how best to handle the situation.

My goodness, what an odd situation. I believe that we do some things because God gave us the good sense do so. We don't pray and ask the Lord if we should eat or sleep or work. Even the ungodly know to do these things. I suspect this family has some serious mental issues. It is a shame you have gotten dragged into by your good heart and desire to help. Don't worry what she thinks God may or may not be telling her. You just pray and let God tell you what He wants you to do. I cannot believe this lady is listening to God's voice at this point.

Forgive me if I sound harsh. I don't mean to. HUGS!
