We found a house

We found a house we like.  It is a 7 bedrooms,  4 baths 4200 square feet and on almost 3/4 acre, only for 350 thousand!! , we are in California remember.   We were emailed it and just loved the pictures and how it sounded.  We went to see it and it is two house not one house!   Ugh!!!    Why do they not tell you that when you are looking at a few to see?   They know what you want, so why do they waste my time??

We are going to look at another one, but this one is smaller only 3 bedrooms, 2 bath and 2300 square feet , but it has the land we want. 

We are just looking at this time as we still have our ranch and love it there.  We will see where and if God wants us to move, but we keep looking.

When my husband and I were searching for a house we used Trulia a lot ( http://www.trulia.com/ )

We found that our real estate agent could show us any home we found ourselves as long as it was within "his area".

Trulia was easier for us because we could specify the number of rooms, bathrooms, price, etc. which would narrow the search down and give us a map. Then we could just move around the map and get closer looks at the locations as well as the houses.

Well, just thought I'd share that with you, in case you hadn't found it yet.

I found that www.realtor.com is a wonderful site when you are searching property or houses. You put in your specifics and it displays all the realtors in your area that have things posted. Good Luck on the search!

Well, even if you get a smaller house than you want, but it's the land that you want, you can always build on.

I know what you mean about this ol' bait 'n' switch - years ago we rented in an area that we wanted to buy in. Everything was either listed WAY out of our reach or needed alot of work. When there would be something that we though we'd like and would call about it, the realtor would say, "Oh, it's actually sold." This happened over and over again and I finally asked one why they bothered to put a sign in the yard of a home that was already sold and they said that it was free advertising. I told her I called it false advertising ... she didn't appreciate that too much. lol
