Pet Names, please tell me some of yours

What names do you call your pet's ?   Do you give them nick names to go with the names you gave them? We name all our critters.  My mom wonders why when we re-name with nick names.

Dogs

1. is Marty a golden his nick names are: Boo, Boo butt, Martin Man.

2. is Freckles a queensland heeler her nick names are : Weasel, old dog, Weasel bu gezzle.

3. is Hope another golden hers are : Hope of the world, Hope a dope.

4. is Arther the wolf his are: Wolf boy, wolfie, da wolf.

5. is Faith half wolf hers are Squankie, Squankache.

6. is Gracie another golden her are: Gracie lou, Lou Lou.

7. is Alex another golden his are : Godzilla, Aldo.

Cats

1. is Tortellini (we had another cat named pizza when we got her) we call her mama.

2. is Tigger his are: bigabe, and when he tosses dishes pecker wad.

3. is Mini Meow his are : Moose man, Moose.

4. is Blue his are : Blue Blue, Boo Boo, Ornery boy.

5. Was Mittens he passed in February we called him Fat Cat.

My pony is named Soda pop, we call him Pops, some times p-o-s.

Horse Cody is the Codster.

Just a few of the animals and the nick names we have given them.

Hermit Crab is : Bobbi

Dixie our Rat, daushand mix is Miss Dixie of the East side or Dixie Chick

Medium Pinscher is : Bruno or Bruce Willis, Tootsie Roll(He is dark chocolate) and at the moment a lil round like one..

Our Rowdy is: the Rowd Man
Shadow is: Shad Man, Whiz Bang, Worm Dog, Little Dog, or Little Man (this is our house dog)
Sassy: Sassafrass
Nugget: Nuggy
Sweet Pea: Sweet Peezy
Cinnamon: Cinny Minny
Snowball: Snowballer
Some of these are dogs, some cats, and some goats.

We don't have any critters.

But let me tell you some family nicknames because some are so totally funny!!

My dad used to call me Sugarfoot. My grandpa used to call me Sweet Pea (one of my favorite flowers).

My neice and her hubby have nicknames. The family calls Megan and Joseph Ra and Wo. LMSO The little girls on the other side of the family couldn't say Megan and Joseph, so Joseph became Wo. But Megan's became Ra because the girls were in the car with her one day when the song, "I love Rock and Roll" came on. They thought it said, I love Ra and Wo! LOL Thus the nicknames. LOL On our side of the family, Megan is called Meggie Shell. Because her name is Megan Mechelle. Mom used to call her Sheely sometimes too. LMSO

My mother and father were not simply Grandma this or Grandpa that. The grandkids (and us grown ups, and all my girlfriends from school) nicknamed them Pa and Rere. Pa becausemy dad thought it didn't sound as old as Grandpa. LOL And Rere, because my mother's name is Rita, and my dad used to call her Ret and Megan heard this and started trying to say it, but instead it came out Re. Then it became Rere. LOL

The little girls I refered to earlier are twins, and their names are Kennedy Claire, and Carly Paige. The nicknames??? Kennedy is called Minnow because she is sooo tiny. (They are not idential twins, and one if much larger in weight than the other) Carly is called Paugie. I am not sure how to spell it, but it was Kennedy's way of saying Paige when she was little and it stuck. LMSO

Isn't it funny how nicknames come about??? LMSO

Our critters names and nicknames are:

Our dog is Nikita and I usually call her by her name but also call her my little girl and she knows who I am talking about. Which is pretty good as all our critters are female!

Our cats are Callie, Patches and Hobo. Patches gets her face all scratched up in the blackberry bushes every year, so we sometimes refer to her Scarface. Callie is called trouble some of the time. Hobo is called killer and I am sure you can guess why.

Our horses are Dark Shadow, Georgie Girl and Tawny. Tawny is sometimes called my little Red Pony. Georgie Girl is just Georgie.
