Okay, Janet is in trouble she let Kristi and Mya run free on the mountain.  Worse yet with a camera .  Here are some pictures of the adventure.

JANET!!!!, we do not let the girls play speed bump in the middle of the Road!!! /.    We need to let the girls out of the house once in a while.  Poor Mya was so lost as to where milk comes from!! And did not know what a pine cone was!!!   Poor Kristi she thought there was more than one of her!!  Look at the locals nails on that local, see how long they are?? They could hurt the girls!!

Us old ???

Janet and Mya went home today, .  But while Janet was here we had some fun shopping.   We went bra shopping and clothes shopping. The best part was no kids!!!  Just us two.  It was so fun and nice. 

We had one lady laughing so hard she had tears running down her face.  It was because Janet was telling her how much we have in common.  We are born 6 weeks apart, Janet is the older one.  Our atm pin numbers are the same( we did not set it up that way). Janet broke her leg 12-27-93, I broke my leg 12-27-07, the same leg, the same way(slipped walking), same surgery , but my leg has more hardware. There are so many other things that are the same too.

So anyway, we are out shopping Janet is looking at some shirts and I said no those look like something grandmas would wear.  Janet says you are a grandma!!!! Thanks Jan, I did not feel like one until she said that!!!!  It was then out shopping we both saw that we are getting older and saw our age.  We are going to be 40 years old this fall.   Where did the time go??  The past 25 years just flew by and we got older.

Then Janet made a few good points. 1. is we survived with out cell phones, the kids just don't believe that.   2. is we lived with out texting!! , if we had it back then we would have to learn how to spell better.  3. is that we lived with out computers to help us with our school work, there was no spell check , there was the "look it up in the dictionary", if we knew how to spell it we would not need to look up.

Old stories # 2

My mom has been so full of neat stories lately that I decided to share them.  I will post them in numeral order as she tells me, unless they have to do with what is going on in life like this one. 

As you all know my best friend Janet was coming out and is out. I have had her daughter Mya (niece/daughter too) for almost a month.  Well, when Janet arrived here she brought Molly their little Yorkie who is 1 year old.   Janet took Kristi and Mya to Big Bear for a few days so we are Molly sitting (help us).   Shayna and I went out to lunch today.  Before we left we put Molly in her cloth kennel that Janet keeps her in at times.  When we got home from our nice mom and daughter lunch "The  dear sweet little Molly" was running around. She chewed her way out of her kennel!!  Best of all she was kind enough to leave us a  gift !!   Mom called just then and asked why I was laughing and yelling at the dog???  So I tell her, she laughs, thanks again mom. Don't you just love mom's at times.  I have one free to good home at times,   So mom tells me a story about their Yorkie when she was a teenager.................................

My mom was 16 or 17 years old and my grandma and Bubba (grandpa, her parents) send her to pick up their Yorkie from the groomer.  The dog was about 3 years old.   My mom said this dog was stuck on hyper mode!   So she get there and picks up the dog it is breathing funny when she puts it in the car.  As she walks to the other side to get in the car the dog just drops dead!!!   Mom is like okay what do I do?? She calls her dad my Bubba at  the friends house. The woman  who answered says your mom is right here, Mom goes NO my dad PLEASE!   So Bubba get on the line and asks what is wrong??  Dads they just know don't they.   So she tells him , he says call uncle Ted to go with her to the pound.  Mom call's uncle ted and he does not want to see or touch the dead dog (What a Manly Man).   He tells mom to put into a box and cover it up so he wont see it.  She gets ready to take the dead dog to the pound and Bubba calls back and says grandma she wants the collar.  

My threat to Janet was easier.  Molly keeps rolling her DANG red ball under the sofa and barks until you get it out.  I told Janet I am going to put Molly under the sofa with her DANG red ball!!!   .  Molly has red ball problems, she needs help.

You never know what you will find

You never know what you will find when you buy a used item.  I bought a dog collar on E-bay.  It came in a big blue I look over the item, interesting.  I look for directions and I find a bunch of old bank papers, savings accounts, money market and deposit slips.   I was able to call the seller and we talked.  He was so shocked that it had that stuff in the box, but happy too.  To find out his dad hid stuff. It was neat to talk to him.  I am mailing him a package with all the bank stuff to him.   I have asked him to call me when he gets the package so I know it got there safe.

Prayer needed 3x's over, what a weekend

I need to ask for prayer for for 3 family members.  We went my mom-in-laws birthday party at the lake on  a house boat.  We were to go out Saturday but because she broke her arm we rushed out on Friday.  We get there and we find out that Shannon's brother Mike is hurt.  I helped take care of him Friday night.  Saturday morning Mike is taken to the hospital , guess what to find out Mike broke his neck!!  We are waiting to see if he needs surgery. Then we get home and find out our nephew Justin who was sick the whole time has pneumonia.

I am asking for prayer for Darlene mom-in-law, broken arm.               Mike for his broken neck and for Justin for his pneumonia.

Michelle's wedding and other stuff

We all are having trouble with Michelle.  She is going nuts trying to get this wedding going, but she is still married to someone else.  She keeps changing the dates, Nov 21, then Nov 28 and then she got real mad because my mom, dad, aunt, 3 cousin and their families could not come.  It is Thanksgiving weekend and they made plans last year and already paid for the vacation.  Then Michelle asked me if we will be there??  Sorry but no. We will be at grandmas and grandpas house with your 3 uncles, aunt Buffey and 3 cousins.  She had a cow.  I told her , my mom told her ,everyone told her it is Thanksgiving weekend most people have plans.  We asked why did you change it?  1 of Gills aunts could only make it then.    Michelle made the very rude comment saying "well you had mommy and daddy pay for everything"   I told her that was rude and uncalled for and that Shannon and I paid for our own wedding not our parents!  They wedding is now the 7th of Nov.  I hope she is divorced before then.

Next we have my dads birthday party.  It was a blast!!  The whole family was there.  Heath was not feeling well, he had a upset stomach, he kept vomiting. Michelle and Gill rushed him to the hospital.  We kept Jeffie and Maddie.  Gill said the kids could stay the night, Michelle said no they can not.  As the night wore on we texted Michelle to see what was going on.  She never said much.  After a while like 11:30 at night Michelle said they would be there for a few more hours.  Ok, we will get the babies ready for bed, she said NO!  She is going to send her father (the child molester)who was in town over to pick up the kids between 1 to 2 am.  I said no.  she said they are her kids she can do what she wants.  I explained to her that at that time the kids will be asleep and so would everyone else (or in bed) and that would disturb the whole house.  So she calls back and said my sister Tracy is coming to get them.   Tracy and Andy her husband come over.  They tell the kids they are going to take them to their mommy.  The kids start crying saying they want to stay here.  Tracy asks why we wont let the kids stay the night.  We all said we want them too.  Tracy starts crying seeing how upset the kids are and says she is not going to take them.   Michelle had a cow.  We got the kids ready for bed.  About an hour later Michelle texted "get my kids ready i will be there soon".  So we waited for her, we did not get the kids ready, she can do it.  If we did it would upset them.  Michelle gets to our house and starts to get the kids dressed and they tell us that the refused testing on Heath so the Dr. found nothing and said that they were wasting his time.  We found out why the kids could not stay, they were going to the zoo with the child molester.  So Michelle ,Gill the kids all went to the zoo a 2.5 hour drive away with Heath sick and a few hours out of the er.

My mom and dad, sister , her husband Andy, Shannon and I are just lost as to why Michelle did this.  She could have picked up the kids in the morning and then took them to the zoo. None of us need this drama and the kids did not need the stress.  More so why is she taking a sick baby to the zoo after having him in the hospital and refusing testing to see what is wrong with him!

Odd sayings in our home

I am writing a happy blog today. Tomorrow will be an up date on the problems with Michelle.

So these are some of the saying's in our home.  Not all are nice.

1. If your not bleeding from the head don't call.  (I use this when the girls are fighting and want me to take sides)

2. If your dying , PLEASE do it quietly, (when the girls are complaining)

3. I am going to tie your tail in a not!!  (used on the grand-babies when they are naughty)

4. Puppies!!!! Every new child or animal is a puppy.  Yes, we have 3 grand puppies not grand children.  See they have tails.

5. Knock it off or I will bang your heads together and watch the air flow out! ( again when the girls are fighting)

6. I taught my niece Mya (she is also a daughter) to hold her hooters when we drive over train tracks or turn fast!  My kids learned this already, my mom taught them that. I taught Mya when she was 4-5 years old.  Her Nana called me asking what did I teach her granddaughter?? Hey, she is part mine.  Now Nana just says what did you learn this time?? 

7. Go choke your chicken.  We tell the dogs this to go outside and go potty.  It started when Mya asked what it meant as she heard boys saying it and well we teased her so much the dogs just picked up on it.

8. The sun does not come up before noon.  We are all night owls, expect poor daddy.  Some times we got to bed when he gets up!!

9. All the animals are the kids brothers or sisters or our grand children. 

10. I brought you in this world I can sure take you out.  Okay this one only worked until they got bigger than me!

11. The t.v is named T.   The wii is Twii.

12. I am not blind I can see what you are doing and I can hear you. 

13. I was never a child, I never did that.  At least until my mom tells them I did.  Thanks mom.

14. The help you need no one can give.   This is when you ask fo help doing something.

15.  Put some close on!   Your poor dad! This is when the girls run around in T shirt and thongs. 

16. Just who do you think you are?  They would SMILE and give their name!!  Yes, my little smart buts.

17.  Just give me the card.  This is when the girls have MY ATM card and have been spending on it and I need it back!!   We have kinda wised up on this.  But I must say the girls and Mya are out shopping as I write and yes they have my ATM card.

There are so many more but that is enough for today.

Jeffie today

Michelle came by earlier today.  As soon as Jeffie was in the house he was ready to stay.  So we kept Jeffie.  Hubby and I took him to walmart to get a feeder for the hummingbirds and a few plants and seeds for him to add to our garden.  Jeffie picked out some mini pumpkins to grow.   It was so cute to see him and hubby working together to plant his seeds.   Then hubby taught Jeffie how to water the garden.   Just another blessed day with the grand-babies, even though it was only Jeffie.

Escaping from preschool

I remembered this story about when Michelle was 2 years old.   I was working full time and Michelle was in the Y.M.C.A.  preschool just about 1 mile away from our home.   While in school one day Michelle just got tired of being there so she left!   Yup, at 2 years old she was done and just walked out.  She was almost half way home when a ministers son saw here walking and picked her up.  Michelle always had on a bracelet let that said where she lived and emergency numbers to call.  (my mom made me do that, thanks mom, after that ALL the kids wore one) . The ministers son called my mom, she at 1st thought it was a joke until she heard Michelle.   He brought Michelle to my moms house.  

My mom called me at work , I was a wreck and left work.   I went to my moms and hugged Michelle and calmed down.  After a few minutes I called the school to see how Michelle's day was going??  They tell me great!  !!!!.

So I down to get Michelle from school, knowing she is with my mom.  I walk in and sign her out.  They can not find her.  I let them go nuts looking for her for a few minutes.   They can not find her anywhere.  I say I know where she is and I tell them.  They say well your mom must have picked her up ,I say no the ministers son who found her was called and told where he found her and what time.  

Other parents were coming in and picking up their children , I told them what happened and not to bring their children back to that preschool.   So what ended up happening is I fired ALL the people who worked there , if they were Michelle's teacher or not.  They let my child walk out and NO one noticed!!  So they were all fired, .  I had the preschool shut down for almost 2 weeks until they had a staff I approved of.

Michelle never went back there.  I started college to be a teacher and my mom kept Michelle until she found another preschool , a Christian one. All the girls went there and some of the same teachers still teach at that school today.

Once I was a teacher and teaching at one school a woman came in and applied for a job.  The administrator came to me and took me in the office.  I saw who it was and told her that  woman worked at the preschool Michelle walked home from.  Boy did I get a hate look!!  But the woman did not get the job.

I have also fired 2 Principal's and 4 teachers, but that is a story for another day.

Another sad day

Today while at the ranch getting Piggly loaded to go to slaughter.  My mom called the cell and asked for a vet because the 2 we go to were closed.  I asked the dreaded why?  Mom crying saying Manon need to go to Heaven.  I started crying with her and told her I was sorry and where to call.   I asked do you need me to go with you?  No, she said daddy is.   I kept checking in and they had a n appt at 2pm.  I asked if I can come over to say bye to Manon? , yes, of course.

Shayna and I went over I saw both mom and daddy crying.  I hugged them and went to see Manon.  She was happy to see Shayna  and I we loved her and I then went in the house with mom and daddy.   Daddy asked me to go with mom to the vet , he just could not do it.  

After a bit we loaded Manon up and took her in.  Do you know how hard it is ti see your daddy crying?  It hurt me so bad.   In the room at the vets Shayna and mom and I all told Manon how much we loved her and kissed her.  Manon went home in my mom's arms and with me holding Manon's hand and Shayna patting her.

We are in shock and in peace at the same time she is with her brother Tt as he dies last weekend.  Please pray for my parents.

Silly stuff from Shayna

I was thinking on how silly Mya and Kristi are and I remember a silly thing Shayna did and Michelle helped.

In our church home schooling we offer Friday school.  It is regular school day on different classes taught my the moms.  I for get what class Shayna was in but I do remember on thing she had to do for the class it was to invent some thing useful.  As you all know we are a verry smart but family.  So Shayna  thought and thought we all pitched in and taught.   Well she came up the with "people box".  Shayna had to give a presentation on her "people box" and Michelle was her people in this.  

We all arrive at school that day with her "people box".  We watched others and they were neat.  Shayna go up with her "people box".  She starts ( I do not know her exact words)  have you ever need to go potty and your brothers ,sisters or parents are taking forever?  Well know you never have to worry you can have a "people box".  Michelle comes up and squats over the "people box" (aka cat box) and pretends to use the box.

The other moms were laughing so hard some had tears.   Shayna got an A+ from her teacher.  There is never a dull moment with them!

Kristi and Mya

My niece / daughter Mya is coming out in a few days.  We can not wait to see her. A few days after she is out her mom Janet will be coming out.  Janet and I have been best friends for 25 years.  Saying that makes us both feel old, .

It is funny because when Kristi was a baby she was "the baby".  She was a year old when Mya was born.  Kristi did not like Mya for years !  She hated that there was another "baby" in the house (to this day Kristi is still the baby).  Kristi remembers a time when she was like 2-3 years old and she was sitting at one end of the down stair hall and Mya was at the other end of the hall, Kristi was giving Mya hate looks!!  Jan and I are laughing so hard we cried, .

It took a few more visits for Kristi to accept Mya.  Then they became like twins.  Poor Mya was pulled one way by Shayna and Kristi, most of the time, they both wanted her.  I am surprised that Mya's arms are normal length.

I love how Mya is the girls sister , not cousin.  That is how they feel.  Janet is another mom to them.  I have helped Jan make choices for Mya.  Jan has helped me make choices for my girls.  Shannon (my hubby) has the role of being Mya's dad.  Mya's dad abandoned his wife Janet and daughter Mya soon after she was born.

This weekend and prayer needed

This weekend has been busy , fun and sad all in one.  The busy part is we set up my salt water pool, we thinned out veggies in the garden.  The the salve master , oops I mean hubby  put us girls to work helping him clean out the garage.  It needed done and it was my idea (why do I suggest things??) , we went through ALL the clothes in the garage, ugh.  We filled up 4 , yes 4 huge big black bags of clothes for donation a huge trash can of nice and some new shoes.  It felt good to get it done, but doing it!!

The fun part was hubby and I playing video games.  We spent hours doing it.  I got stuck at one part Kristi said mom do this, I said no it wont work.  That little smart but took my remote and did it in less than 10 seconds, .  Well it took me 20 minutes to get where I was!! Kids , keep them around they will put you in your place and make you feel your age!!

The sad part need prayer.  11 years ago on March 31  our female Cheyenne and Marty had their first litter of pups.  Just about a year before my parents  Golden Sunny died.  Sunny was the light of their lives.  Sunny also got me to love the breed.  I had mom and daddy come over and daddy picked out a pup, Tt.  When we went to our house in Pismo we still had 1 female pup left.  I dropped of Cheyenne and the female pup and mom and daddy's house so Cheyenne can see her son and he could play with his sister while mom and I went out shopping.   When we got got back I no longer had a female pup left daddy feel in love with her .  Tt and Manon have been with my parents for 11 years.  This weekend mom and daddy took off to their beach house in Pismo (we sold our years ago).  Yesterday the let the Kids (dogs) out to go potty and Tt collapsed and died.   My parents are so heart broken and so is Manon.  They always thought Manon would go home first, she is a worry wart, she cares for my mom and does not leave her side.  They were not prepared for Tt dying.  I am asking for prayer for them both and for Manon's health as she is stressed and lost with out her brother.

Tt dying makes me feel Hopes age.  She is one litter younger then them.  Hope is the one in my avatar picture.  Hope is the doggie love of my life.

Jailed in Disneyland !

Jailed in Disneyland!  This happened to uncle Kurt 2 days ago. Kurt is my hubbies best friend, so the girls made him an uncle. He took his wife took their twin children 5 years old to Disneyland for the evening.  While they were in line for a ride a couple was um um how do I say this okay I got it getting WAY, WAY  to frisky in line and giving everyone a show that you do NOT want your children to see in Disneyland or even in your home   .  So uncle Kurt asked the couple to stop and told them that there are children around.  The man in the couple told uncle Kurt a few words, uncle Kurt shared a few back but his were words his children could hear(good boy). Things got bad uncle Kurt kinda pushed the man to back him off and well the guy fell over a tiny wall.  But hey it stopped the show .  So uncle Kurt was taken into custody by Disneyland security at 8pm and let out of Disneyland jail at 11 pm.  There is no real Disneyland jail it is just a security office.  The police came and the man did not press charges because he was in the wrong.

Hubby asked me what would I have done.  Well me being a smart butt I said I would loudly say free sex education class right here come and get your tickets for the show.  Or I could charge a fee!   What about asking how much for an hour?    Me, Well  I would say something loudly to embarrass the couple in line. 

I do not blame uncle Kurt for being mad at the show his babies were getting , but we do not need to put our hands on others in less it is to defend a love one who is being attacked.   Uncle Kurt next time just walk away or say something to some one, no more jail in Disneyland Please.

Warning for dog and cat owners

I received this in an e-mail.  This stuff can kill your furry babbies!

Over the weekend the doting owner of two young lab mixes purchased Cocoa Mulch from Target to use in their garden. They loved the way it smelled and it was advertised to keep cats away from their garden. Their dog Calypso decided that the mulch smelled good enough to eat and devoured a large helping. She vomited a few times which was typical when she eats something new but wasn't acting lethargic in any way. The next day, Mom woke up and took Calypso out for her morning walk . Half way through the walk, she had a seizure and died instantly.
 
   Although the mulch had NO warnings printed on the label, upon further investigation on the company's website, this product is HIGHLY toxic to dogs and cats.
 
   Cocoa Mulch is manufactured by Hershey's, and they claim that 'It is true that studies have shown that 50% of the dogs that eat Cocoa Mulch can suffer physical harm to a variety of degrees (depending on each individual dog). However, 98% of all dogs won't eat it.'

   Cocoa Mulch, which is sold by Home Depot, Foreman's Garden Supply and other Garden supply stores, contains a lethal ingredient called ' Theobromine' . It is lethal to dogs and cats.

Piggly For Sale

The people (from our church) who bought Piggly are not able to pay for the feed they owe us it is over $200.00, we have feed Piggly for 5 months, almost 6.   We understand that at things happen and we are not mad.  But this does put us in a pickle.  We now have to find a buyer for 1/2 of him or just sell him whole.  We do not have the room for two whole pig in our freezers.  Nor do we want to spend a thousand dollars for the feeding of two pigs and for the cut and wrap for them.

This is the last time we are going to offer a feed animal to anyone.  Not to be rude or mean it is just that we do not need to get stuck with this again.  Times are hard for everyone but we still need to be responsible for our actions.

Kristi's Dr. visit from ****

We just got home from Kristi's latest Dr. appt.  She had her 3rd pulmonary test and to see the Dr. after the test.   The testing went well, the woman was very nice.  After we went into the room for the Dr. to go over the results with us. 

When we got to the Dr.'s I gave them a packet of her testing results pulmonary, allergy , blood and her steroid medicine dates, and a nice letter telling the Dr. that this child has never had a panic attack in her life.

So the Dr. comes in I ask him if he would please listen to her history and read about it. He said he went over her history last visit.  I said no both my husband and I tried to tell him but he said he did not want to hear it you only trust your testing.  I said also she has never had a panic attack.  He said he never said she did.  I said yes you did and it upset Kristi.   He said I only said it was common for girls her age to have them  Then he asked Kristi did I ever say you had them?  Kristi looked at him dead on and said yes you stated I have panic attacks!  The Dr. said he is done and will not see her.  I said I paid for this visit you will do your job .    The Dr. left the room and said she will have to see another Dr.

The office manager came in I told her we need another Dr. this one will not do his job.  I said all we wanted to do is have her Dr. listen to her medical history and to see the results of the testing HE had to have done before he saw her.  I also told her about how he says she has panic attacks , then said he never said it.  How it was rude of him to hold an imaginary pill bottle in one had and pretend to take a pill , because he did not believe that she was on steroid medicine.

We waited for the new Dr. and what a blessing he was.  He asked about her medical history , asked Kristi many questions.  He listened to her. He asked me questions and listened.  He then tried to figure out what her burning in her lungs is.  So he asked many questions about our / her diet.  He was shocked at what she eats.  What does she / we  eat?  We grow our own meat except chicken we buy organic chicken.  We eat from our garden or buy organic.  My husband catches fresh deep sea fish and also hunts for meat.  We can our own food.  We do not eat a high processed diet.  She does not drink a lot of cola maybe 2 cans a week or less.  She also has acupuncture weekly or bi-weekly.

But he did say she does not need to see a heart Dr.   She can travel and live a normal life.  She has asthma but don't let it hold her back unless it is an issues at the moment.  She is old enough to tell if it is bothering her.  Kristi is in hog heaven!  I am happy also.

Why did they do this ?

I live in California.  My husband Shannon saw a news clip last week that made us all wonder why??  There was a builder who ran out of money building 16 homes.  He had no way of finishing them ( they were almost done all the way 95%) , no way of paying the mortgage on these 16 homes, no way to sell these 16 homes.

Guess what the bank did??  You will not believe this they bulldozed the 16 homes!  They could have sold them as is to people at a lower cost. The people who bought them could have finished the homes.  But no they just bulldozed them!   That is so sad.  The home could have gave some families a fresh start.

Poor daddy and a update on bio dad

Yesterday over at mom and dads for a bbq, mom and I were talking and daddy walked and nd looked at us with a look of is it safe to come in.  Mom and I started laughing because we remembered what I did to daddy years ago.....

I am very close to my mom, very close.  I can ask her anything.   So one day I called her with a female question.  Daddy answered the phone I asked him if I could talk to mom?  He said you always call and ask for mom why can't I ask him??  So I did.  I asked daddy the female question I had.  Mom said he was bright red and just handed her the phone .   Poor daddy, it was just a yeast infection question, but it was too much for him.  Know when I call with a question for mom no matter what it is he gives her the phone.    You would think having me and my sister and being married to a woman he could handle a few female things, but noooo.

Update on my bio dad:  he is doing ok, he is still not able to keep food down and other things.  We are going to see him in  few days.  Thank you for all the prayers.

Dad dying # 2

Last night I had a dream that my dad went home with the Lord this morning.  I have been calling his house with no answer as of yet.  I am not ready for this.  I knew it would happen one day , but many years from now.   Hubby Shannon told me I am thinking to much.  I am told that all the time by so many different people.  Annie my acupuncturist always tells me to stop thinking.  But now it is a list of what need to be done before we drive to Las Vegas, what food to take , medicine, wash the two dogs that are going, show my mom how to care for the animals left at home , to have the ranch sitter (Shayna's boyfriend) feed the animals right and to make sure pony is feed right after his  colicing a few days ago, and so much more. I almost (ok I do) want to take my mom and dad with me to help figure it all out.

I probably just confused you all.  My dad who is dying is my biological dad, he was not in my life to much.  We have done better in the past 10 plus years.  I have a step dad that I got when I was 12 years old. To me he is my daddy.   

Know I kind of regret telling my bio dad (father) 20 some years ago when he came back in my life to be a dad to me " I do not need a dad I already have one but I can use a friend and we can see where we go".  I was 20 and he was not a part of my life for most of my child hood, seeing him once a year if I was lucky.   But it was true and I did feel that way.  Now I feel blessed to have two dads. 

I am off to make a long list of everything that needs done, God Bless, mj
