Be assured, if you walk with Him and look to Him, and expect help from Him, He will never fail you.

That is the real reason for this season although the world would not want to think about that! Praise the Lord, I have a risen Savior and because He lives I can live also! I wanted to do something a little different for my grandkids for resurrection day so I put together a few small things to help them think about why we have Easter. I found these cute little lambs and put some scripture with them to remind my grandkids that Jesus is the lamb of God and he can take away their sins. I also gave them a small pack of jelly beans with the colors of the jelly bean prayer and the prayer attached. This is such a good reminder of what Jesus has done for us! Lastly, I made my granddaughters a gospel bracelet. They can wear this and it will give them an opportunity to tell someone what the colors mean. Black - the darkness of sin that we are born in, Red - the blood of Christ which washes away our sin, White - washed white as snow, Yellow - the streets of gold we will walk one day if we know Christ as Savior, Green - reminder to read our Bible and pray so that we can grow in Christ. My grandsons are still quite small so I made each of them a gospel bug. It also has all the colors. However, I did not have any black pom poms so I used dark blue which is still a dark color to represent the darkness of sin. Tomorrow we will all celebrate together. What a joyous day! He is not here: for he is risen, as he said...Mt.28:6
