Today is another gorgeous, mild and
sunny day. I'm so cheerful when the sun is out! Our homeschool schedule
resumed today, although wwe had a nice little break late morning when
Tara, and her family, including in-laws came for a coffee visit. What a
nice bunch!
Tammy is Tara's sister-in-law, and has a blog here as well. She's a sweetie.
Thursday we go to the eye Dr. Saturday is my birthday, and my Boer goat
is due to kid then as well. Should prove to be quite a day! I'm hoping
for triplets again, and it seems pretty obvious I may get that wish.
Poor girl is looking rather hippo-ish.
The children are eating lunch, and then we will go to town for a trip
to the library and bank. I'm fermenting some cabbage and beets, and
need to make soap
real soon!
We are almost out, and it'g going to be terrible using store-bought
soap again. My, how we have gotten rustic. I need to start a pot of
soup again, and bake some bread, that way we will have some nice
lunches for a couple days. I think we may make pizza tonight and have a
big salad with it. Doug is on shift, so we'll probably be pretty
laid-back tonight. We will be in bed early for the first time in
days, and up early to finish the mountainous pile of laundry. This
spring and summer there's so many fun things going on, and I still have
a ppile of books I haven't read yet. This happens every year- I won't
get a long stretch of time to sit and read again until winter!
So...what's on your reading pile right now? Anything good? I LOVE books, and want to hear what you are reading.
