Well, I need to say thank you to all my sweeties commenting with
encouraging words for me. How many people really understand how easy it
is to get attached to goats and other critters, besides people like you
and me?!
So...THANKS!
Handsome Rob went to the vet again, not improving at all, but actually
sicker. This is not fun. I had the vet give him IV fluids today, along
with a new antibiotic and some milk tubed into his belly. I wormed him,
and have given him homemade electrolytes frequently. I do believe he
feels a little better, but he still refuses to eat or drink on his own.
This is starting to point to coccidiosis without the scours I'm afraid.
Not good news. So, I guess I don't really know too much more.
I am behind in all kinds of things, and I have several things I'm
supposed to be writing. I'm hoping o have a little more time soon. My
husband has been gone most of the week, and most of last week, and we
are milking a loaner goat who hasn't totally settled in yet. I have my
Boer doe due in about two weeks, and some chicks in the sunroom. It's a
houseful. All that, and we are still trying to keep up daily lessons.
I'm whining now, so better stop, but really could use a litle
vacation!
The children have been great. I'm so grateful for that. They work hard
and try to do comforting little things for me. Sweet peas!
It snowed here today. We thought spring was around the corner, but maybe not. Cold and dreary day. We are all ready for the sun.
It's time for Rob's syringe feeding again, and then bedtime for this
household! Tomorrow Daddy will be home for a couple days- hurray!
Saturday Tori has her first horse show. My goodness, are we really that
stretched and busy?! Time for a cup of tea.

When I read about the busy-ness of your days I actually get a nervous stomach! This shows me that it's the Lord who gives you the strength to live the farm life :) You literally do 3 times what I do in a normal day. God bless you and the work of your hands!!!
Still prayin',
Jessica
