I must say that having a goat kid in
the house is a fun idea at first, but the fascination wears off after a
short time. Patience gets thinner when the "baby" gains confidence and
tears around the house, jumping off walls, onto furniture, dominating
everyone in the house by butting them with his little fuzzy head. The
darling.
He gets irritated when someone dares to put him outside to go potty or
takes "his" comfy spot on the couch. My husband, the softie, remarked
lastnight that Handsome Rob seems to think he's one of us. I shot back
light lightening, "No, he thinks he's
better than us!" The children all quickly agreed. After all, we are the ones home with him all day.
As cute as he is, I am very grateful he will live in the barn soon. I
have a greater appreciation for those women in third world countries
who share their homes with the livestock. They must have the patience
of angels.
I personally am getting a little bit crabby.

Wonder if he'll rebel when he goes to the barn?
