Hi y'all!!!

I am loving my new environment. We are unpacked and life is falling back into a normal pattern. We even started back at school this week. It has gone wonderfully!

This week, I really worked on trusting God and putting prayer in a proper place in my life. It has really paid off. First I just feel the presense of the Lord in my life. You know when you draw near He will also draw near to you, this is a definite. Secondly, I have seen answered prayer, which is always awesome, to know that God actually cares about my request is humbling. Third, to see the power of prayer when people pray together, always a neat thing.

Now that we are settleing in a bit, I am anxious to start making some yummy homemade bread and treats. I have put this off because I don't have my pantry completelly stocked yet, imagine that. So I am working on my pantry list and hopefully will make some homemade yummies this week.

The other short term goal is to do some sewing with my daughter. She LOVES to sew. I just got my sewing machine out of storage and am thinking I might try and teach her some basics. I need to get my machine serviced first. I am not really sure what to do first with her, I am no expert seamstress or anything. Does anyone have a good starting place for me and her???

A good first project is cloth napkins. It will help her familiarize herself with the sewing machine and how
to hold the material, etc.
