The Land is Calling

Saturday

I loved today. It was so beautiful here. The weather was beautiful and it was sunny. The trees were budding. All around beautiful day.

We went out to our new church to volunteer at a skate demo they were having at their skate park. Since my honey used to be  a youth pastor and we skateboard this was right up our alley. The kids had a blast, they met a bunch of kids. And even us adults met some people. I met one really nice single mom and her mother. Both of them were lovely ladies. The mom said if I ever needed a babysitter, let me remind you I have 4 kids, she would watch them for me. She even gave me her number. Can you belive that???

So it was nice, and I am falling in love with the church. Even in just the short time we have been here. The longer I am here the more I LOVE it.

We drove around and looked at some land! The kids weren't that into it and began whining, yuck! So we cut it short and went home. We all came home with little sunburns, which is funny coming from FL. We all had base tans, but the sun was HOT today.

It was a good day and I am looking forward to church tomorrow.

Have a Blessed Sunday. I am off to bed. I am worn out and with the time change, I could be dragging in the morning. Good Night!

Hi Andrea. That was a nice entry. I remember moving, 2 years ago and 3 years ago. Yes, that lady was very generous. I my rented house in 2003 I put in some primulas and freesias for the spring season, luckily there were lots of nice trees and other things to look at like roses.
