The Land is Calling

I tried to post yesterday

For some reason my post wouldn't go through yesterday. So I am trying again. First off we are settleing in to our new home. I really love the area already. Our neighbors are really lovely and my kids have many new friends to play with. The kids have had a good time meeting all sorts of new people. Also the church we went to was AWESOME! I am looking forward to getting more involved.

So 6 days here and we already made a trip to the Vanderbuilt Childrens Hospital. My 5 yr old ended up with an infection in his urethra. Yuck, it was no fun. He is feeling much better now.

Yesterday, I played catch up on laundry and unpacked a few more boxes. Today I am going to finish unpacking my homeschool things. I am loving having a craft/homeschool room. That is going to be fun.

I am just waiting to get out and plant something. I will have to go the potted plant direction since this is not my yard, in reality. It is one empty yard, there is nothing in it. I could do so much!

We have begun our search for land. We found @ 8 acres in the area we want to be. It has a modular home on it right now, which would be quite a squeeze for all of us. We would have to build a home, and I don't know if we are ready for that right now. We just need to keep looking.

Today I have more laundry, some unpacking, I want to hang some pictures and find some frames. I cleaned off the front porch and put furniture out there and I love it. That will be a nice sitting area for me. I also cleaned the foyer area and straighted in the dining room (thank you Flylady).

Does anyone have a good chicken noodle soup recipe. I made a couple roasted chickens the other night, and felt like using one in a soup. Let me know if any of y'all have a good recipe.
