The Land is Calling

Our weekend and my baby boy

Yesterday we had soccer games in the morning. Our 5, 8 and 10yr olds play, we had 2 wins and a tie. It was a beautiful, beautiful day the sky was a bright blue and the sun was shining with a nice breaze. I love those kind of FL days. It was so nice to spend the whole morning outside. I even got a bit of a tan and my nose got a little sunkissed. I am hoping by the time we move to TN I will have a really nice tan.

We all came home and rested and then went to Sat. night church. We concluded the study on Ruth, it was a really neat study and alot to chew on. It was a long, but really nice day with the family.

Sunday has been spent at home. Right now I have my 4 kids, my niece and 2 neighbor boys at our house. They swam for awhile then I made them a picnic and now they are ridding bikes in the front yard. They seem to be playing nicely and enjoying themselves.

My honey has been doing taxes, yuck. We have always done them ourselves, but sometimes I just think it would be easier and less of a headache if we just let someone else do them. I just don't want to pay anyone else, I am stingy!!!

My littlest boy just woke up from a nap and he was still sleepy so he asked me to rock him. He is 3 and still loves to snuggle in the rocking chair. He fell back asleep and he was so sweet to look at. His curly, blonde hair was a little wet from his nap and his lips were open slightly. He was breathing that deep, rhythmic breath of a peacful sleep. I just love these times, when they can still fit on your lap. He can still curl up and put his head on my chest. At one time his eyes opened a little and he put his little hand on my face and said "Mama, me love you". I couldn't resist and said "Me love you too". I used to call him baby boy, but he has informed me that at the very big age of 3.5 yrs he is no longer a baby. That is a little sad. But I know at these moments when he is curled up, on my lap, asleep he is still my baby.

What a wonderful gift to be a mom!!!

Blessings,

Andrea

Once you get to TN, you will become one of those white legged folks you now make fun of on the beach!
No kidding...my Honey used to always be a shade darker than most..he now has the lily white legs he made fun of his entire life!
There are tanning beds here...and lots of 'em...
For phone numbers and such, have you contacted the Chamber of Commerce in your new area to get their new resident package? That should include a phone book as well as a plethora of local info for you.
HTH!!!

Blessings,
Laurie

And, enjoy those incredible sunsets for me...there is nothing like that sight...TN is beautiful, but we do miss those sunsets...
