The Land is Calling

We have a house

We have a home to go to in TN. We entered into a rental agreement for at least 6 mts. I am really happy with this choice. We now have time to really look for the property that we want. I definitely want to make an educated decision on our homestead, instead of just buying something without really knowing the area.

The home we are renting is a really lovely house. It is bigger than what we have now, and the price is much better. That is because the price of real estate in FL is crazy.

The kids are really excited about the move. The neighborhood has a huge pool area  with a kids pool. They also have walking trails and soccer fields. So the kids are excited about all the ammenities. This may sound funny, but my daughter prayed for a dark, red brick home and this home has that, so she is blessed. I am looking forward to getting there and settleing in. I am excited for this next period in our lives.

We are working on a budget before we move. Our next step financially is to finish paying off our debt, we are almost done with that. The next step is to start saving. We really want to live and spend wisely. I believe God will honor this. So we are preparing before we ever get there.

Now for a question??? We sold most of our furniture with the sale of our home....so we are in need of some more. Does anyone know of any good furniture places that are not expensive, yet have nice stuff? I am more in need of a sofa than anything.

Have you heard of that Swedish place that sells furniture? Don't know if there are any near you. I have not been there but have been told that it's very good and very cheap.

I am so happy for you. This is will be awesome for your family. Btw, my dc have prayed me into several homes, cars and churches. Never underestimate the power of a child's prayer (not saying you did), just know if you get them in agreement with you, its almost impossible for it not to happen o/s of it not being God's best for you at that time.

If you are not looking for new, Cort's, which is a rental company does sell their merchandise that they have removed from their rental section, as well as the new furniture. They have great sales and most of the times the used items are practically new. I am not sure if Cort's is in TN, but I encourage you to take a look and see they do have a website.
