The Land is Calling

Busy, Busy, Busy

I hate the word busy. I don't like it when I feel like I have to much to do, it doesn't seem like I truly can enjoy anything when I am doing to much. So I am trying to slow it down a little.

I need to just slow down and spend some time with my kiddos, my honey and my parents before we move. There is alot I want to do before we leave, but I want to do it with purpose, not in a hurried mess.

We have soccer starting next week, until the last weekend we are here. So every Sat. from here on out is a soccer day. My mom is excited about going to the kids games, I think that is sweet of her. She is also planning on coming and staying with us in TN for the summer. I love that she is going to visit, my niece is also going to come.

Moving can be so stressful, I am praying that it can be a wonderful and non stressfull time. I want this to be exciting time. So I am slowing down and having purpose in what I am doing. I am trusting that the Lord will bless this time with my parents. So I am starting to pack, still doing school, soccer, co-op, and just life, but I am going to do it in God's grace and prayerfully not in my own flesh.

I hate "busy" too! For many years my life was a whirlwind of a zillion things going, and I thought I thrived on it. In the past year the Lord has changed our circumstances, and spoken loudly to my heart about slowing down. I just want to invest and enjoy time with my husband, family and home! All the best with your move. Now THAT'S a lot of work!
