The Land is Calling

Thursday

Today I had a really nice day. I babysat the little boys across the street. I know my kids are away for the week and I babysit. It was really nice, they are sweet boys and we had a nice day. Besides I need the money, so it is a blessing that this came up.

We have guests coming to stay this weekend so I cleaned today. I washed sheets, dusted and went over the bathrooms. I still need to do the floors, I just cant seem to make myself do them. I think that will be tomorrows task along with a little ironing for my man.

It was kind of a quiet day at home. It was to hot to play outside so we were in and the boys were super good. I got alot done and then tonight I am planning a really nice, romantic meal for me and my honey. I have steak and corn some good bread and a salad. I am praying that we enjoy the time we have together tonight. Tomorrow our guests come over and then Sat. the kids are home. So tonight is our last night alone, it went really fast. You know the thing is after all of these years I still really love my husband, more today than in the beginning.

By the way he is really enjoying his new job. He said his new boss is a super nice guy and really easy to get along with. They compliment each other and work well together. That is a good thing. He is in learning mode right now, just learning all the new info that comes with a new job, yet he thinks it will be a really good fit for him. That blesses me and him. I am praying for God to bless him in his job also.

Off to make myself beautiful before my man gets home and our romantic night begins...hee hee.
