The Land is Calling

Hot

It has been so hot here. My kids really don't want to play outside. They go out for 5 min. and come back in beat red and wanting cold water. So we have been playing mostly inside during the day. Yesterday we had friends come over and we all played games. The mommies and my DD played Scatagories and the boys played trouble, guess who and go fish. They also played Legos. It was a really fun afternoon, and we were able to use our minds.

Last night we had the 2nd night of VBS. It has been fun to be able to do it as a family. Then the kids got to play outside in the evening. It was alot cooler.

I still am amazed that summer is almost over. We wont start school until Sep. but really that is only a month away. Summer is going fast, but it has been fun for the kids. Public School starts Aug. 15 here. That is really close. It will be nice to have some of the neighborhood kids back in school. hee hee.

Today my 8 DS went to work with his dad, so I only have 3 of our kiddos today. We wont be doing much today. I need to iron do some vaccuuming and just our normal daily routines. I also need to clean up my garden a bit, that will have to wait until evening.

Job Update: my honey has had a really amazing interview. It went extreemenly well. The company wanted him to talk to some of their people that work for them so that he could see if this really would be a good fit. He did and it would be a wonderful fit. They are suppossed to talk again today about MONEY! Please lift us up. We so need my honey to get a good job. So please pray for wisdom and a job that would be good financially. God is in control, but I am going to keep praying. Thanks for your support. Hopefully I will have good news concerning a job later today.
